2 months old!

Our sweet little Jett is 2 months old! It is amazing how fast it has gone! He is a very precious little baby.  We are just enjoying every little bit of him! He is a pretty laid back little guy, but when he gets mad, he get MAD!! He has got a nice set of lungs on him! He has been sleeping a little better through the night anywhere from 5-7 hours at a time! I felt like a new woman the night he slept 7 straight hours!
He loves to smile! He especially loves the color red and smiles every time he sees something with that color.  He loves his brothers and follows them with his eyes whenever he hears their voice! He also loves his daddy! His daddy can hold him a very special way that gets him calmed down! He is a sweet little boy and we love him so much! We are so thankful to the Lord for this precious little gift!

2nd week!!

Jaxson is still loving school and loving it!!!  He comes home everyday singing a new song that he learned.  He has already learned how to read and spell, red, blue, yellow, green, orange, pink, white, black, brown, purple, I can, and we!! I am amazed with how much information he retains! This week Jaxson was the first one in Kindergarten to receive the spirit stick in PE.  You get this award when you do everything correct and with a good attitude!! He was so proud! We came home and he made us all our own spirit sticks.  My mom picked up Jax from school yesterday and the first thing he said was, "I could read the note mom gave me in my lunch box!" I love it that it is just all starting to click with him! Everyday he comes home and gets out paper and wants us to do the art projects that he did for the day! He tells us how to do it step by step. Another cute thing he has been doing is rolling up his papers from the day and putting them in his pocket! It is such a little boy thing to do and I love watching him pull out these rolled up papers out of his pockets!!  This week Jaaf was able to go eat lunch with Jax at school! Jaaf said he walked into the cafeteria and could see Jax had his feet on the chair next to him when a little boy went to sit down on that chair Jax said, "No, I'm saving this for my dad!"  Jaxson kept talking all day about how much fun it was to have his dad there! He said it was his favorite part of the day! I will have to have Jaaf write a blog about all the different conversations he had with Kindergartners!
God is so good and faithful to hear and answer our prayers, even the small ones.  It was our huge prayer that Jax would love school, God answered.  We prayed for Jax to make a good friend, and he has made a great new friend, Derrick, he sounds like a great kid I still have not met him or his family, but Jaxson is calling him his very bestest friend, God answered!!  Thanks to Derrick Jax has been eating so well, which is also answered prayer! I could go on and on about how I can see God's hand in every little detail in Jaxson's life! I am so excited to see how God is going to use Jax and teach him new things this year!

1st week!

Jaxson had a great first week! I couldn't believe how smoothly things went! Jaxson's school is just across the street from our neighborhood.  When I go outside I can see his school.  I think it is an awesome gift to me that I can visibly see the school, because it reminds me to be praying for him all day. Jantz, Jett, and I have gone on a few walks to the park and as I walk to the park I see the school and it prompts me to pray for my big guy! Praise the Lord for this wonderful first week of school!
I tried to come up with something fun to do for Jax that would help get him through the second half of his day, so in his lunch box everyday I put a funny picture of someone in our family to try and brighten his day! He loves to come home and tell me about the picture and how it made him laugh! One day he gave the picture to his teacher!  Jaxson was able to do PE, Music, and Art this week! He really loved art class and drew this great little mouse eating cheese! His teacher sent a note home this week telling us that Jaxson is a big helper in class and that he is a very good friend to his classmates!! We asked Jaxson again if he had a great day and his response was, "It was funner than you could possibly not even imagine!" Jaxson said he favorite thing to do in the classroom is table time, and his other favorite things are PE and Art!
I am so thankful for this first great week! I am praying that God would continue to encourage Jax and use him this year to show God's love to his school!! Here are some pics from this week!

1st Day of School!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! I can't believe that my baby is in Kindergarten. I had the boys help me make some muffins the night before so that they would want to eat breakfast! Jax made his muffins red and Jantz made his blue! I decorated the living room and we had a small surprise for Jax to start his day off great!! I love love love more than anything to cover my children with prayer and God's word.  I think it helps me to get through the big stuff, just knowing that the Lord is covering them and protecting them throughout the day.  I had some of our favorite verses hanging up and I had Jaxson's school sign that we started last year! Every year I am going to have him sign it and write what he is looking forward to for the year! Jaxson was so excited when he woke up! He was ready to go! Jaaf and I just took Jax so that we could focus all of our attention on him.  We ended up having to run through the rain because we left our umbrellas at home! We walked our boy into the school and down to his classroom! He was so proud and excited for his day! I was doing great until Jaaf sat Jax down at his table and in his chair and choked up when he said, "See you later buddy!" I had to hold back my tears as I gave him a kiss goodbye! Jaaf and I left the room and walked down the hall way and had to take a moment to shed the rest of our tears before we headed to our boo-hoo breakfast.
After the breakfast Jaaf went to go get the car for me and as I was waiting for Jaaf in the lobby I hear, "Mommy!" I turn around and it is my big guy with the biggest smile on his face! He said, "Mommy I'm helping the teacher! Jax and this cute little girl were taking something to the front office! As I sat there and watched my big guy walk the halls I just thanked the Lord for giving him to me! It was a sweet little moment that the Lord gave me that morning to encourage me and remind me that Jax was going to do great.
When we picked him up he was so excited! We asked him if he had a good day and he said, "Are you kidding me, it was AWESOME!!" He retold us the whole day and said that he made a really good friend, which I have been praying for! I am so thankful to the Lord for answering my prayers today!!
These pics are so out of order!! Sorry!!

Meet the Teacher!

Today was Meet the Teacher Day! There was so much anticipation and excitement building for this day.  I was so anxious to know who Jaxson's new teacher was, what the room looked like, who his new friends would be, and so on.  As we sat in the Kindergarten orientation I was just overloaded with information from that point on I was just in a fog for the day.  We went to go see who Jax got for a teacher and at first I was a little upset because it was not the teacher I really wanted him to have.  Then the Lord had to remind me over and over that His ways are greater and better than my ways! I know the Lord has Jaxson in this class for a reason and I am excited to see what God will do in his class.  The rest of the day I was just a mess! I think it hit me after we met his teacher that this is really happening! My baby is really going off to Kindergarten! He was so sweet that day and gave me hundred hugs. Every time he would hug me I would just start crying.  He was also so sweet to his little brother and made him a necklace of all his favorite things so that Jantz would be sad when he was at school.  I love his tender heart! We were praying over him that night and as I was praying I just lost it and started to cry! I had to have Jaaf finish my prayer for me!! I know my Jax will do great, and I have full assurance that the Lord has Jax in His hands, but I love my boy and will miss him dearly!
Jaxson had a great time at meet the teacher and loved his classroom!! Here are some of the pics from the day!

On our way! He was a bit excited!

Jaxson strategically placed all of his confetti under his pillow!

I'm losing it!

I'm blaming it on sleep deprivation! I basically posted the same thing back to back.  I don't feel like deleting it, so just ignore my craziness!!  Maybe if I could get more than 3 hours of sleep a night, I wouldn't blog the same thing twice!

Family Fun!!

We took a fun trip to the Omniplex! The boys had so much fun.  Jax got to ride in a simulate space craft, while Jantzen was in the control panel room.  It was so cute to see Jaxson's face on the TV, he was beaming with joy! Someone in line commented that he had such a sweet face!
Then we went to the tinkering garage where you build things! It was so fun to watch the differences in the two older boys.  Jaxson was very precise and had a very specific plan while he was building his car. Jantzen was more laid back and used the materials that were close by!! Both so precious with their own personalities! I love how the Lord made them so different, yet they both have the same sweet loving heart! Here are some pics!
