So we had our last soccer game of the season last week! Boy what a game it was. Both boys had games at the same time, which is always so frustrating to me because I want to be able to watch both of them and be there to cheer them both on! I don't know what I will do when I have all three of my boys playing a sport at the same time. But, Praise the Lord, he put the two fields right next to each other. I was able to watch both of my boys!
As I was watching my Jantzen practice, and I looked over to Jaxson's team and saw that he was wearing the wrong color. i went over to coach Jaaf, and asked what the problem was! He told me that the other team didn't have enough players and Jaaf asked the team if anyone would like to help the other team out and play on their team. My sweet Jax was the first one to offer! It was so weird, because I was so so proud of my boy, but it was also hard for me. I am a pretty competitve gal, and I wanted to my boy to finish out with his team! Jax has really gotten good this year, but hasn't had that many opportunities to make a goal. If there was ever a game that he could score, it would of been this one. So here I am being a selfish mommy, just wanting my boy to be able to play his last game with his friends, not against them. Then the Lord spoke to me, "Jennah, how proud I am of that boy! He chose to help someone else out and put the needs of others above himself!" What a precious little boy! As I watched him, I was so proud of him! He worked so hard for that other team! The Lord was good and allowed Jax to finish the game with his team. Some of the other kids asked if they could help the team out too! The Lord also allowed Jax to get in a goal for his team at the very last second! It was a very sweet game! One that I will definitely remember.
My sweet Jantzen had a fun time, but he was just glad that soccer was over! On the way to the game Jantzen said, "Mom, after this game, I don't ever want to play soccer again!" I told him that was fine! We will find something he likes to do!
"Whenever you are able, do good to people who need help!" Proverbs 3:27

Jaxson running to his dad after he made his goal.

I don't think he could run any faster!

Giving dad a high five!!

I love this pic!
Jaxson trying to score for the other team, while his whole team is surrounding him!
Jantzen's coach would pick him up and run with him to help him kick the ball! Jantz normally enjoys hanging out towards the middle of the field and watch the game!!
here is Jax in the yellow jersey with the other team!
