Last Soccer Game!!!

So we had our last soccer game of the season last week! Boy what a game it was. Both boys had games at the same time, which is always so frustrating to me because I want to be able to watch both of them and be there to cheer them both on! I don't know what I will do when I have all three of my boys playing a sport at the same time. But, Praise the Lord, he put the two fields right next to each other. I was able to watch both of my boys!
As I was watching my Jantzen practice, and I looked over to Jaxson's team and saw that he was wearing the wrong color. i went over to coach Jaaf, and asked what the problem was! He told me that the other team didn't have enough players and Jaaf asked the team if anyone would like to help the other team out and play on their team. My sweet Jax was the first one to offer! It was so weird, because I was so so proud of my boy, but it was also hard for me. I am a pretty competitve gal, and I wanted to my boy to finish out with his team! Jax has really gotten good this year, but hasn't had that many opportunities to make a goal. If there was ever a game that he could score, it would of been this one. So here I am being a selfish mommy, just wanting my boy to be able to play his last game with his friends, not against them. Then the Lord spoke to me, "Jennah, how proud I am of that boy! He chose to help someone else out and put the needs of others above himself!" What a precious little boy! As I watched him, I was so proud of him! He worked so hard for that other team! The Lord was good and allowed Jax to finish the game with his team. Some of the other kids asked if they could help the team out too! The Lord also allowed Jax to get in a goal for his team at the very last second! It was a very sweet game! One that I will definitely remember.
My sweet Jantzen had a fun time, but he was just glad that soccer was over! On the way to the game Jantzen said, "Mom, after this game, I don't ever want to play soccer again!" I told him that was fine! We will find something he likes to do!

Gassid Summer of Fun!!!

So my Jax has been worried that this was going to be a boring summer! He was really sad that school was ending! I am determined that this is going to be the "Gassid Summer Of FUN!!!" I wanted to make sure we started our summer of fun off right. I made some yummy "dirt" dessert and had some other goodies ready for Jax and Jantz after school got out! I also made a SUmmer of Fun jar that is full of fun ideas to do so that if we are ever bored, we can just go to the jar pull out an idea and then go do it! We have already pulled out, "Go to Cupcakes to Go GO and get a yummy cupcake!" ANother one we have done is build a fort and tell some camp stories! You get the idea! The boys have been taking turns each day to pull out an activity to do! So far the summer of fun has been good!! Jaaf and I also decided to get a super awesome fun pool this year! We usually take the boys to Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate the end of the school year, but this year we decided to save some money and just buy an awesome pool that we can enjoy all summer!! The boys are loving it, but not as much as I am! I have rug burns all over from going down the slide so much!!!

Jaxson's Last Day of School!

So as I think back through this year, I can't help but shed a few tears! This time last year I just found out that Deer Creek was going to FULL DAY Kindergarten! I'll never forget Jaafar telling me the news. I literally cried all day! I couldn't imagine having my baby away from me for 7 hours! Jaaf and I looked at some private schools, but they were either WAY out of our price range, or the Lord just kept closing the door! PRAISE THE LORD that HIS WAYS are so much HIGHER than my ways!! I began to pray for Jaxson's teacher for all the kids that he would be with during the day, for the faculty and staff at the school, and so on! My fear was that Jaxson was so innocent and pure, and I did not want that to change. I did not want him to be exposed to something that could take away that innocence. it was hard for me to realize that Jaxson would be spending more time at school then he would with me. I had to let that go! I prayed that God would put amazing friends who loved the Lord in his class! I prayed for God to provide at least one good friend who loved the Lord and his parents to love the Lord. Boy did the Lord ever answer that prayer! He provide almost a whole classroom full of friends who love the Lord. It just amazed me as I got to know some of the kiddos by working up in Jaxson's class who most of them loved to talk about Jesus to me! Jaxson's teacher, Mrs. Nelson, was amazing this year. At first I had a few reservations about her! She seemed wonderful, but I knew that she didn't have children yet. And as a parent, who used to work with children before I had some of my own, I know how impatient I was with them. Again, God showed me that He knew what was best for Jaxson! Mrs. Nelson has been the biggest blessing this year! She has given Jax a love for learning and has equipped him with so much this year. She has more patience for 20 kids that are not her own then I do for my own 3 kids! She is full of joy and laughter, and made every day fun and new!! Jaxson came home from school everyday saying, "Mom, today was even more awesome then yesterday!" The staff and people I have met at Grove Valley are by far the best and have exceeded all of my expectations! There were so many times that I felt like we were at a private school, because everywhere I looked I saw Jesus! Whether it was the many different artwork that covered the walls of the school, where numerous children wrote and drew about God, or when the principal asked the kids to pray for the families in Hati, or when the Grove Valley website asked all the parents to come together and pray for and help a teacher at Grove Valley as she lost her husband, or by the conversations I heard during lunch time at the school between different teachers and students as they talked about what they learned at church, or by the numerous parents I met who love the Lord!
So as this school years ends, I am overwhelmed by God's goodness and faithfulness to provide above and beyond all of my thousands of prayers I asked throughout the summer last year and through out the whole school year. He did not let one of them go unanswered. God thank you for this school year and for all that You did through it! Thank you God for the amazing people you put in our life and in Jaxson's life! God I am overwhelmed by your goodness! God I love you and pray that next year will somehow be even more amazing then this year! Raise this generation of kiddos up to serve you and love you and bring glory to Your name! God may your prescence be felt all over the school! God we honor You and we love you! Thank you for making this year amazing and one I will never forget!!!!!!
"The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."

Jaxson's Kindergarten Graduation and Award Ceremony!

Last week we had Jaxson's Kindergarten Graduation and award ceremony! What a very proud mommy I am of him! He is just the absolute best little boy! He is amazingly smart, has a very tender heart for others, yet he is adventurous and an active boy! Jaxson got three awards. The first was his accelerated reading award! He was very proud of his reading award. The next two awards his teacher gave him which were, "The awesome attitude Award," and "The Fabulous Behavior Award." She said that she can always count on Jaxson to make the right choices!! It is so awesome to see the Lord answer many prayers for my boys. I pray daily that the Lord would give my boys the discernment to know right from wrong, and that they would choose right!! I love that I can count on my Jax to make right choice and to be an example to others!!

Jantzen Graduation

My sweet Jantzy Pantz graduated from Preschool! Last week he had his Graduation Performance, and it was just precious! It is amazing to see how much he has grown in such a short time! He had a great first year of preschool and has learned so much! His teacher Mrs. Marsha was telling me how incredibly smart my Jantzen is! She said he is off the charts! I would have to agree!! His little performance was precious, he had been practicing his songs for a while and was so proud to sing them that day! I just can't believe he is getting so so big!
On the last day of School for Jantz we decided to have a special celebration for him completing his first year of preschool! We let him choose where ever he wanted to go for dinner! He chose POPS! We ate outside behind POPS where they had a huge grassy area! The boys had so much fun running around and chasing each other! Even our little Jetters got in on the action and was crawling all over the grass!! It was a fun family night celebrating our Jantz and what a great year he had!! We are so proud of him and how great he did his first year! What an amazing little boy God is turning him into!! Thank you God for my precious Jantz! Continue to grow him up in you Lord!!

10 Months Old! I know it is late!!!!

Boy oh boy do we have a personality!! Our precious little 10 month old is full of personality! He is still a VERY active baby boy! His latest thing that he loves to do is close doors! If there are ANY doors in our house that are open, he will go behind the door and shut it! He doesn't even care that half of the time he closes himself in a dark room by himself! He just loves to shut the door!! And let me tell you, if you were to open the door, he will let you know how frustrated he is with you! Same is true if one of the boys try to take away a toy that might be dangerous to him. He will shake his hands in a fist at you and let out a huge grunt!! I have also witnessed him pushing his brothers after they took something away! I'm afraid we are going to have to look into anger management classes!
Our little Jett is also mimicking us! If we blow our lips together, he will do the same! He loves to make smacking sounds, and bubble sounds with his mouth!! It is so cute! He also LOVES animals! When he sees a dog he will start to pant and bark at it! When we asking him, "What does a doggy say?" He will bark! He will do the same with a kitty! It is too cute!
Jetters is still crawling like a maniac! He is ALL over the place! It is fun now because he will chase us around and then if we turn on him and chase him, he just giggles and giggles!! He can walk all around by holding on to furniture and pushing toys! He is getting really close to taking that first step by himself!
Jett is sleeping much better! He usually sleeps from about 7:30-5:30! I'll take it! He does occasionally wake a few times throughout the night, but we are getting better!!
He is just so so precious and so much fun! He is the happiest little guys until you take him away from his mamma! He does not like for anyone to even talk to me, because that would mean my attention was on someone else other than him!! At times it is exhausting, but he is my baby, and I'm lovin that he is such a mamma boys!!!
Jett is eating like crazy! He likes just about anything, but his favorite is Mac and Cheese!! He is my sweet baby boy and I just love this little guy so very much!!! Every day is an adventure with him!!
Image
Jett loves to play peek-a-boo with boomer!!
Image
Jett loves this toy! Every time we get all of the doors opened he claps his hands and squeals! Then he closes all the doors, starting with the blue door, then after they are all closed he turns it over to see where the animals went!!!
Image
This is a new game that Jett like to play with his brothers! He will drop something, and then one of the boys will pick it up and hand it to him, and then he will drop it again! Then he just laughs and laughs!!!

He loves to play in this tunnel!
