Our little crazy climbing monkey!!!!!!

I can't even begin to express what a little toot we have!! It does not matter how big or how complicated we make a barricade to keep him away from certain things, HE FINDS A WAY to overcome it! He climbs, he destroys, or he just breaks through it! One thing is for sure, this little baby boy is not typical 3rd child, he is one independent, determined, feisty little boy! I seriously can not leave this baby alone even for a second because he will some how find a way to get to something he should not be around! He even does it right under my nose! I have a feeling that this little one is going to keep me on my toes for the rest of my life, or until he gets married!

I was doing dishes and looked up and my Jett managed to climb over the barrier I put up to keep him out of the big boys toys!

Standing on top of the chair! He thinks it is soooo funny to climb on-top-of the chair and beginto jump! Then he loves to just run off of the chair! I can't even count how many times I have leaped across the room and dove to catch his head right before it crashed onto the floor!

First Day of First Grade!

FIRST GRADE!!! AHHHHHHH!!! So my biggest guy is now a first grader!! How can that be??? He was so excited to wake up this morning and go to school! Me on the other hand was a little excited buy also trying to hold back my tears! Jax kept talking about how 1st grade is so cool because now he is in the number grades! (Instead of Kindergarten!) My sweet friend Kelly came over early in the morning to help watch the baby so that we could take Jax to school with out our littlest man! She also took a few pics of Jax before he left. We prayed on the way to school and had fun walking our big man into his classroom! He got to sit next to two people from his class last year. When he sat down his friend Emily said, "Jaxson, don't worry if you have butterflies in your tummy, because I do too!" Jaxson said, "I don't have any butterflies in my tummy!" I thought it was so precious of her to be concerned! I told her that I did have butterflies in my tummy! He ended up having a good day! He was so tired when we picked him up that he couldn't remember all that he had done for the day, but said it was a good day! While Jax was at school Jantzen and I made Jaxson some yummy red velvet cupcakes for his after school snack!!

Meet The Teacher!

I just cannot believe that my Jaxson is in the first grade! Seriously where is the time going!!! I have tried my hardest to just enjoy every last second with my big guy, and the Lord has been so faithful to provide sweet moments for just me and Jax! Today we went to meet Jaxson's new teacher! He has been saying the past couple of weeks how he really isn't excited about going back to school because he says he is going to miss me! I was hoping that Meet the Teacher day would bring all the excitement he needed to be ready for school! We got to the school early because it would make me feel better if I knew an extra 15 min early! =) We were there with all of our best friends and sadly Jaxson is not in class with any of them. He did however get an amazing teacher. We were both pretty sad that he did not have one best friend with him. Jaxson peeked in on his friends classrooms to find that they all had class pets! The three prayers he has been praying was

1. For God to give him a teacher who loves God.

2. For His best friends to be in his class.

3. For his class to have a class pet!

I felt so sorry for my Jax, but he has been a trooper and not complained once. He said that He will get to see his friends at recess and that he can look in at their class pets! It made me want to go and get him a little gerbil or a fish so badly! I hate to see his little spirit crushed!

All that said, he had so much fun and it made him really excited to start school!

Putting some ready confetti under our pillow! Jaxson's Kindergarten teacher did this last year and told the kiddos that the confetti would help them to not be nervous and that it would help them get extra good sleep!

Indoor Campout!

So since the temp outside is 107, we decided to have a super fun indoor camp out with the boys! They were so excited and could not wait to "camp in"! I took the boys to go shopping and get all of our supplies! We told the boys that we would watch movies and that they could stay up as late as they want! They kept telling everyone that day that they were going to camp out and that they get to stay up all night long! As soon as our little booger went to bed we started setting things up for our camp in! The boys helped their daddy and put the tent together! They went and got their sleeping bags and pillows and got them all situated so that they could watch the movie from inside the tent! After we watched the movie, it was about 11:00. The boys just kept saying, we want to stay up all night! Jax kept saying, "I want to make it to my goal mom!" So we went outside in the back and laid on the trampoline and looked at the stars! We used Jaaf's phone which has an awesome app on it that when you point it to the sky it tells you what star you are looking at! After we looked at the stars, we came inside and got in the tent to tell stories! The boys had so much fun making up their own stories! If you could only hear my sweet Jantzy's laugh as he told his stories, which his stories were the exact copy of his brothers story except he would change the names! Finally at midnight, we told the boys that they made it all night and that it was time for bed! Jantzen decided that he wanted to sleep in his bed, so I went and put him to bed and when I came out to the living room Jaaf and Jax were already passed out! It was so much fun and such a sweet memory with our boys!

Jax and I went on a little date to celebrate him getting ready to start 1st grade! We went to Incredible Pizza Company! We had so much fun playing golf, playing games, watching G-Force while eating. Then Jax asked if we could have some more time on our date so we went to Pet Smart to look at the animals! Jaxson wanted to take them all home! Then we got in the car and he asked for more time on our date, so we went to Target!! (Our favorite place to go!!) We had such a great time! He kept saying this was the best day ever!!!! Earlier in the day he got to go out with his "Pal." Jax kept saying August 14th is "Jaxson Day!" He was so excited to have so much attention on him! It was a fun day to spend with my special Jax!

LAST Week of "Summer of Fun!!"

Wow, I can't believe this summer is already over! I am excited for my Jax to be able to be back at school with his friends, but I'm also a bit sad because I am going to miss him terribly! Thankfully my Jantzen still has a few more weeks till he starts back! This week my goal is to have the absolute best time with my boys! I want this summer to go out in a bang! The boys have been amazing and we have had so much fun together! I think I only heard the phrase, "Mom, I'm bored!," and that was when we were waiting for friends to come over! I love my boys and am so very thankful for them and this precious time I have had with them!!!

I took the boys to the zoo to watch the sea-lion show! I was crazy to take the 3 boys by myself in 107 temp! I was sure to have 5 ice packs and 2 ice sticks! It didn't matter though because we were still crazy hot!!! We only came for the show and then left and went to sonic to get ice waters!

What a super fun week we had! So thankful for this time of making sweet memories with my boys!! They are growing way too fast!! I'm just so thankful for every little second I get with them!
