Merry Christmas

So I was a little bit of a slacker this year and didn't mail Christmas cards - (sorry)! I just can't believe how fast and busy this month has been. I have enjoyed this holiday season so much and I hope you have as well! Here are a couple Christmas pictures of our family. We are truly thankful for all of our blessings and are so thankful for our family and friends! Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year!

Snow!

This morning we were so happy to wake up to a little snow. Connor has been wanting to build a snowman and I knew today had to be the day! This is how it went:ImageMeggie was not excited to put her snow clothes on. I thought it was funny!
ImageOnce we were outside everyone was happy (for a minute).
Image
ImageMeg was getting too cold and Connor was even ready to go inside, so our snowman wasn't very big, but it was still fun!!! I love spending fun time with them!

Feeling the spirit of Christmas...

ImageOn Monday night, for family night we went to pick out our Christmas tree. Even though it was really cold it was a lot of fun! I think we got a really good one! We also read the book: "I believe in Santa Clause" it is a really cute book that talks about the symbols of Christmas and the similarities of Santa Clause and Jesus Christ.

ImageImage I thought this was cute. Meg was putting her hat on Connor and Connor is just sitting there patiently.
ImageImageThe decorated tree... Meg has already redecorated it a couple times. :o)

ImageFor Young Women's this week we went to Temple square to see the lights. It was beautiful as always and really makes you feel the Christmas spirit and reminds us of what Christmas is all about. Here are the leaders and below are the girls. I learn so much from all of them! (Bummed you can't see the girls that great. :o( I am not the best photographer...)

ImageMegan loves to play with my makeup - already!!! She is so funny!
ImageThey are so much fun!
ImageJust a random picture of my cute little helpers with their aprons on! More proof that I am not the best photographer. Oh well, you get the idea.

I am truly excited to celebrate this Christmastime and hope that you all have a happy holiday season.

Fall...

So I know this is backward but I just wanted to post some of our pictures from before Halloween.

We had a pass to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point so we went a couple of time and it was so fun!
I love how they have so many activities for the kids to do. My kids could spend all day there.

The PUMPKIN PATCH:
ImageI am so thankful to have these two kiddo's!!!
ImageImageI had to post this picture of Megan and this little girl. Megan walked up to this little girl and kept waving to her and saying "hi". I went to get her to come with us and she didn't want to leave this little girl. The funny thing is this is a normal thing for Meg, she's usually really friendly to other kids and loves babies. I think it is so cute.
ImageWhat a big boy! He is so cute!

Image I love Connor's "cheesy" face!
ImageConnor loves to help! Well really he likes to do things on his own but sometimes he needs a little help.
ImageGrandpa and Grandma Smith. I think by this point Connor and Megan were sick of the pictures.
ImageI always love this time of year!

ImageJason decided it would be a good idea to paint Connor's face for Halloween instead of wearing a mask. He did a great job don't ya think!

18 months sure goes fast! Megan has been such a joy to our family! She makes us laugh all the time. She loves Connor so much and if he isn't awake yet in the morning she will go in his room and just say hi and wave to him over and over until he wakes up and says hi. She loves to give him hugs too. She loves other kids and babies especially. I took her to nursery for the first time Sunday and she didn't cry once and stayed without me. Megan is so independent it makes it really hard sometimes, but I really do love it. She says only a handful of words now like: mom, dad, hi, please, cheese, batman, and maybe a couple more I can't think of right now. I took them in for their doctor check-ups this week and Connor weighs 35 lbs and his height is 39.2 inches and Megan weighs 19 lbs and is 29.7 inches. We are so thankful for these two great kids! We love you both SO SO much!
