Connor's 1st day of Kindergarten

I couldn't help but cry when I dropped him off for his first day. I really did not think that I would!! I guess because it is a new stage for him and seeing him get older is kind of hard. He is a great little boy and I know he will make lots of friends and be a good student.

Megan's 1st day of preschool - Aug 2012

Is she really old enough to start preschool? Crazy!!! I love this little girl. She was so excited and ready to go! I think it helped that she had been there so many times to pick up Connor.

I'm sure it also helped that her best little friend would be there too!

St George

We took a little trip to St George in the summer and here are some of the pictures. I always love to have a getaway with our family. I wish I had taken pictures of Connor and Jason trying to catch a lizard. It was pretty funny because even though we saw at least 50 different lizards they are so fast that there was no hope in catching one. Maybe next time.

Girls Camp

In February, I was called to be our ward Young Women President. It has been so amazing to work with the young woman in our ward. For girls camp we got to go with our stake to the Heber Valley Camp owned by the church. It was a lot of fun!!! It is run by couple missionaries. I would love to have that mission when Jason and I get older. Anyway, it was a great time. I was also one of the nurses for our stake so I am thankful that no one got seriously injured while we were there!

Summer Rodeo

We have a tradition of going to the Lehi Roundup Rodeo. It is so much fun! Normally we haven't taken Megan because you sit on bleachers and it would have been hard for her to sit still for that long when she was little. So this was her first year and she loved it!

Connor graduates from Preschool

These are Connor's little buddies! Such cute boys.

This is Connor getting his award. His award was, "Friend to All". That really does explain Connor. He loves people and really cares about others. I hope he can always be a friend to all!

Our 10 year Anniversary

Wow! I am so behind. On June 1st we celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Time literally flies by!! We had always hoped to go to Hawaii for our 10 year anniversary, but couldn't afford it right now so we did the next best thing, hike up this really steep steep mountain in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The hike was to Lake Blanch and we carried 30 pound backpacks, well Jason was probably 50 pounds, with tent, food, sleeping bags, extra clothes, walking sticks etc. Wow it was tough but it really was so much fun! I love that Jason is so adventurous and I'm glad he pushes us to do things I wouldn't normally do. I love spending time with Jason no matter what we are doing, but it really was nice to not have any other distractions, just me and him and the beauty of the mountains around us.
