Happy Halloween!

Our Halloween started Thursday the 21st with a preschool Halloween party at Grandma's house. It was a lot of fun. The kids danced, played, decorated cookies, and had lots of treats!
Thank You Grandma!

Pumpkin Patch

A couple of Saturday's ago we went with our friends to Linder Farms. We had such a great time and the weather was perfect... we had a very nice pumpkin patch experience and our kids LOVED it... Happy Harvest!

Grady is so much fun but it was a long day for him.

Gus wanted to try the Barrel Train... it was a little too small.

The Petting Zoo was smelly but we got to feed the goats and a camel!
Sarah Jane was brave...

Carlie was a chicken...
she didn't want to get too close to the animals.

Grady was a little freaked out when the animals moved but he did okay.

Carlie loved the swings... she giggled the whole time and when it was over she came running up to me and said...
"That was totally awesome Mom!"

Sarah Jane liked it too...
she just smiled the whole time and tried not to move.

The kids loved the Train and rode it twice... Grady did well with Carlie holding on to him tight! Notice Sarah Jane in the background ready for some fun!

The kids... including Gus had fun on the tires in between activities!

We went with some of our good friends the Jones family,
they were a ton of fun!

The hay maze was fun for the girls but they did get lost once and had to have their Dad rescue them!

Grady loved the pumpkins and still loves to carry them around the house. He thinks he is so big!

The kids had a ton of fun trying to find their pumpkins!

Grady was so tired by the end that he fell asleep on the Hay Ride!

What a fun day!

Catching Up

Carlie started preschool in September... this is her second year. She LOVES it! This year Grandma Waltman is her teacher, she goes once a week with four of her cousins out in Middleton. My Mom is really great to do preschool and is a great teacher... she makes cookies and bread with the kids and they have a great time!

Notice Sarah Jane's backpack... she wants to go to preschool too and cries every time we drop Carlie off at Grandma's!

I love how Carlie is so eager to learn!

They are growing up so fast... next year Carlie will start kindergarten!

Carlie, Grady, and Gus were too fast for Sarah Jane so I walked next to her... she was too cute, her little legs were pedaling as fast as they would go but I still had to walk really slow to keep pace with her. She would concentrate so hard on pedaling that she would watch her feet and almost ride off the sidewalk or into a mailbox but she made it!

We had a lot of fun at the park and a nice lunch but then it was just too hot so we headed home!
I love a beautiful Saturday with my family!

Waltman Bros and Broads!

This past summer Gus and I had a blast playing and coaching a coed softball team with a lot of my siblings and a couple of friends. Jared and Lisa, Todd and Kristie, Julie and Mike, Shari and Elliot, Brandon and Natalie, Valerie and Bryce, Gus and I... all played from my family and we also had Brandon and Hollie, Lorin and Connie. We played in a Nampa C league and did really well... I think we would have won the championship but we had scheduling issues and couldn't make it to our last two games. We did get third! Gus usually plays on a team with my brothers... Waltman Bros but this year the women wanted to play too!
