Qiao Gu

I am a final-year Ph.D. student in the Robot Vision & Learning (RVL) Lab at the University of Toronto, advised by Prof. Florian Shkurti. My research focuses on 3D computer vision, generative models, and robotics.

I am currently a research intern at Meta Reality Labs, where I work on video generation models for egocentric videos under the mentorship of Julian Straub. Previously, I completed a research internship in the same group at Meta Reality Labs, focusing on egocentric 3D perception, mentored by Zhaoyang Lv and Chris Sweeney.

I earned my Master’s degree in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Prof. David Held and Prof. Martial Hebert. Before that, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where I worked with Prof. Chi-Keung Tang and Prof. Yu-Wing Tai. I also completed a research internship at Tencent Youtu Lab.
