"I do it", "Two eyum", "knack","finkle finkle whittel stawr","w,x,y and z...now what?", "I slall it", "white dawre Paige","Ohwd Gwouwy" and "wuv you too". AKA, I do it, two of them, snack, twinkle twinkle little star, w,x,y and z now I know my....., I saw it, right there Paige, Old Glory, and love you too.
These are just a few of the many hilarious phrases our now, twodler, says. Reece is growing up right before our eyes and I actually believe hit her "twos" a few months ago. She is determined, stubborn, hilarious, adorable, clever, sporty and strong! She has mastered hitting, pulling hair and pushing others down and prefers those little friends that are smaller than she is. She is comfortable with timeout and listens for the beep beep after two minutes. We hope she outgrows this stage soon! She already has had numerous bruises, a chipped tooth, a black eye and a split chin requiring an ER visit for stitches all before turning two.
She is still our little sleeper requiring 12 hours a night and at least a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon. She won't turn down much for food and is a great little eater. Did I mention she also loves to eat toothpaste, aquaphor and lotion? She loves dancing, playing with Paige, "reading" or listening to books and taking baths. We are in a wonderful stage right now where she will let me cuddle her in the rocking chair to sing songs before bed. I hold on tight to her knowing this won't last long...
We had a great birthday party at the bowling alley with all her friends and had another amazing cake made and inspired by Granny B with help from Daddy. We think this one was her best yet!
Granny B and GG, thanks for your help with the girls! It was great to see you both!
Reece, we love you and Happy Birthday!
At age 2, Reece stands 38 inches tall and weighs 31 lbs. An inch taller and 2 lbs heavier than Paigey at 2. Off the charts for height as usual and 90th for weight. You get em Reece!

Happy New Year!

Image
9 days later.....and Happy New Year!

We had a great New Years weekend with 14 adults in attendence for dinner with 7 kiddos, our largest yet. T.Jay and I graced our friends with our onsies that I bought in Cody over Thanksgiving and of course, I don't have a picture of them except on my phone. Reece ended up with a black eye, not quite sure how, but after she hit Cole for the 15th time, he probably swung back. Kidding, we think she fell on the stairs.
We ended the night with Catch Phrase again and my team lost again.....I think the other team cheats! The next morning, T.Jay cooked up an awesome mixture for breakfast burritos on the discada and then the scratch tickets began. Unforutatley, even after 10 hours and 5 different trips to the grocery store, we only had enough to buy everyone lunch the following day. Someday, someday, we'll hit the big one! :)
The crab feast mid-afternoon was a highlite for sure but I think we all just like the delicous butter we drizzle over it!
Sorry for the lack of pictures, not many were taken!

Hope this year is a healthy and prosperous one for all!
T.Jay's motto this year, "Clean it up in 2012" Meaning back off the beers and fats! We'll see how long that one lasts!

We did another early Christmas at our house and the girls were quite creative with Santa and reindeer snacks. Paige thought pickles, pears, apple slices and cookies and water would be a wonderful snack for them. They love their new sleeping bags and toys that Santa brought.
Our trip to Sheridan started out a bit rushed with packing at the last minute as we decided to leave Tuesday evening before the storm hit, but it was then spent well rested knowing we were safe from the snow!

We had a wonderful time in Sheridan enjoying Gma's daily meals, visiting the Y DAILY, taking the girls to their very first movie, playing with cousins and of course opening presents on Christmas day. The week flew by as usual but it was wonderful to spend time with grandparents and great grandparents!

Thanks to my family for some wonderful Christmas memories and spoiling the girls so we don't have to! :0

Grandad and Mima made a trip down to see us for an early Christmas celebration. Though it was a quick trip, we made the most of it! We hit Denver Zoo lights, opened presents (with the highlite of Paige's new twin doll named Lucy ((see the matching outfits)) and Reece's new dance gear with ballet slippers included), margaritas outside in the sun followed by an amazing dinner on T.Jay's new discatta. Thanks for a great few days and helping with the girls!

We had a great time up in Cody for Thanksgiving. We broke up the first half of the trip by staying with the Marso's. The girls loved Baby Kellan and we had a chance to catch up with "our kids" aka Monkey and Bear Bear. Thanksgiving in Cody was highlighted with a reunion of Jan, Chris, Cayden, Dylan, Kelly, Brad, Abby, Tagg, Betsy, Dan, GG, Papa and us. It was a great time. Betsy and Dan hosted 35 people on Thanksgiving day and it was a success! Great food, great people and a heart-felt speech from Betsy about being thankful for Dan's health and being together. A speech to bring us all to tears! T.Jay broke out my Dad's stash of Vazonka for all who was willing! Unfortunately most everyone came down with the flu bug, Dylan might have been hit the worst. So far, thankfully, our kids walked away scot free!
I had to add the picture of the Yak. Who has ever seen a Yak? I am glad we had the opportunity to do so as those animals are hilarious! The picture explains itself!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!

I had a few days off of work and decided to head up to Sheridan to see my parents and grandparents. Tjay was fishing with his friends in Casper. Boy did I feel rested when I got back. Went to bed with Paige each night at 8 pm and woke at 7 am. 11 hours for 4 nights sure did me some good!
It was great to see everyone as always and had fun playing at the YMCA or the Y "museum" as Paige would call it, the library, and the park.
Can't wait to see everyone at Christmas!
