my legs are numb now because of the intensive exercise that i did today! and that is none other than shopping!!
zhi liang yue-ed us out for shopping at vivo today. cant seem to remember when was my last shopping spree! but i spent a lot today!
i got a purple dress, a pair of white heels and a white dress watch. gosh! i think i have to live on bread and water for the next 2 weeks until i get my pay! melissa and i bought the most things while zhiliang and ruoyi didnt buy anything. opps! :D
to end off our shopping trip, we had ice cream at ben and jerry's! first time dining at ben and jerry's and i had the cookie cookie sundae! it looked nice but when you start eating the second or third chocolate cookie, you will feel like puking! esp when my whole bowl was chocolate! from the cookie to the topping to the ice cream! hahas.. but it was fun eating ice cream and playing melissa's DS! i love mario kart!!
as usual, my mum screamed the house down when she found that i bought yet another pair of shoes! hoho! i cant help it! i got an obsession with shoes! according to zhi liang and ruoyi, i have a psychological problem! bleahx!
crazy zhi liang msg-ed me at 10.15pm to ask me if i wanted to join him for a jog and i was like what?? in the middle of the night! i rejected cause i jus had a bath and he said that if he passed by my block, i can throw water down from my balcony for him. huhss??
evevntually, when he stopped at my block at 11, i was nicee enough to go down with a cup of water for him! hahas.. chatted with him until 11.30 and it was back to my jap notes!

oooh! jap lessons are fun but scary! the whole class seem to be able to pick up so fast except for me! and i am beginning to think that for me to even master basic jap, it would take a million years! :D
today is tuesday so how can i miss out on gelare's half price waffle?? :D met up with melissa, zhi liang, azhar and zhi cai for waffle ice cream after my jap lesson. ruoyi couldnt join us cause she going to bank of china with her mum. zhi liang and i were the earliest and while waiting for the rest, i ordered a carbonara spahgetti which act costs a bomb!
i ordered a new flavour of waffle! chocolate coated waffle so in every mouth of waffle, you can definitely taste chocolate! heaven! but it is super super SINFUL! hoho! wanted to run today de but the weather is threatening and mahjong at my aunt's house is so tempting! hahas...
after waffle ice cream, azhar and zhi cai was still complaining about how hungry they were so we headed down to KFC. ehs, i didnt eat anything! i was engrossed in melissa's nitendo DS! mario kart racing! super fun!! was challenging zhi liang but i always lose! cause i cant see to control the car and i always get banged off course by other pple! bleahx! we stayed at kfc for super long and we were praying and hoping that no students see us!
however heaven was not our side! we saw not only the student, but also the parent that azhar teach! super malu! esp when i make so much noise while playing with the DS! i am super tempted to buy DS now! whahahas! i am so going to pester my dad to buy one for me!

highness! kbox totally rocks my socks! hahas... went to kbox with melissa and zhi cai yest. dorothy was supposed to join us also but at the last moment, this crazy parent popped out and started talking tp dorothy about her child and she wasnt able to join us in the end.
zhi cai is the younger version of zhi liang cause they will be'possessed' by female ghost whenever they go kbox! haiyo! the 2 of them always attempt to sing female songs and as you can guess, the result is pretty horrible!! but zhi cai is a thousand times worst than zhi liang! melissa and i had to resist more urges to stuff the mike into his mouth than zhi liang!!
it finally rained yest!! was soaked to the yest even when i had an umbrella. but at least it felt cooler :)
i am going to the zoo in june!! hoho!! because the chinese HOD has agreed to let us stay on until july!! so i will still have money to spend during the great singapore sale!! mad with excitement!! but i cant stand facing the sec 2s! my sec1s are cute tho! :D

whahahas! i have the urge to proclaim once again that i came from NANYANG JUNIOR COLLEGE! hahas.. this is because the sec 3s had their career talk yest and one of them was a jc talk which was conducted by Mr Johnathan Ng :) although he was not my teacher, it still feels nice seeing a familiar face :) me and ruoyi sneaked into the ava room after chinese lesson and johnathan actually recognised us! he was talking half way when he suddenly mention that 'i see some familiar faces behind! ' and yupps, he was refering to us!
after the talk, he was talking a little bit to us. and we told him that we were in the internship programme and our teaching experiences. hahas...when i mentioned that i was from o6o2, he exclaimed 'oh! valerie and gang!'hahas... if valerie reads this, i can see her floating dreamily! hahas :D
met up with mingg and jovena after school yest. they came over to my house to watch p.s i love you together with take away from shihlin! long time since i had the famous mee sua which me and sirta were so crazy about during our jc days! :D the mee sua is as good as ever!
somehow or rather, i cant seem to be able tokeep awake during these dvd marathons! hahas... everything the 3 of us rent a movie to watch at someone's house, i will ALWAYS sleep for a segment of the movie :D
after movie, we were lazing around on the floor and sofa jus chatting the time away :) i love these gatherings!

my bones feel as if they are disconnected from my body! haven swim for a million years and after swimming 20 laps today, i feel like jelly!
met jo and dory for dinner at city hall. i was super late because the talk that i attended ended super late! was so scared that jo would skin me alive! hahas... but she didnt! :) [i was 40 mins late :p] they were already q-ing at new york new york. dory bought a stalk of rose each for me and jo. so sweet of her :)
this time i was smart! i didnt order the pasta! the last time i had it, my stomach almost burst! i had beef, jo had salmon and dory had chicken. like always, we were swopping food all around. and they corrected a bad habit of mine tho i shall not say what it is :D by the way, the calamari rings at city hall's nyny is better than the one at amk hub!
after dinner, we walked to marina square to shop shop shop! i didnt see anything that catch my eye. dory bought 2 tee-shirt and they bought sweets from mini toons.
going to town on a weekend night lets you see alot of familiar faces. i saw wulin and anqi and quite a few nanyang pple. eg, jus when i thought i had to go home myelf on nel, we saw jean at the mrt! so i had company for the rest of the journey :D

finally i have a happening weekend after weeks and weeks of lazing at home! :D
dinner out with my colleagues yest. steamboat buffet at amk! yumms!
as usual, we didnt meet at the desinated time of 5.30. me, zhi cai and melissa went to collect my contact lens first. melissa and zhi liang has 接班人already! cause me and zhicai were quarreling all the way! but its reverse role from melissa and zhi liang. cause this time it is zhicai bully me and not the other way round! haiyo, everything i say he sure got something to retort back de! hmph!
while we were enjoying our steamboat, somehow or rather, the topic led to ghost stories-- the topic that i am most afraid of! was covering my ears the whole time which was quite a difficult task since i was trying to scoop the food out of the pot!
after dinner at about 9.30, we thought it was too early to go home but the shops in amk hub were already closing so we decided to head down to hougang to meet zhi liang for a cup of tea. we settled on Bliss at punggol park. the atmosphere super eerie! partly also because dorothy and zhicai cant stop scaring me by telling me how many pple died in the pond etc. argh!!
for the first time in my life, i drank cocktail with a little alcohol! :D but i didnt get drunk! i tink dorothy was th one who was drunk cause her entire face was red! hahas... when zhi liang came, the situation worsen! cause he joined in th telling of ghost stories and scaring me also! oh my god!! what have i done to deserve such 'NICE' colleagues???
we finished our drinks at about 10.45 and zhi liang and zhi cai had to send me and melissa home and to the bus stop! because they scared the living daylights out of us!! even when we were nearing my house, the 2 guys couldnt resist scaring us too! zhi cai started by saying 'ehs, there is 2 eyes on the tree!' and zhi liang continued by saying 'there is a pair of legs also!!' i screamed at the top of my lungs and dragged melissa all the way home while the both of them were roaring with laughter at the back and called me tian zhen! hmph!
ha! but they will gt their retribution too! cause zhi liang msg me and told me that while he was walking home alone after sending melissa to the bus stop, he was scared by his own stories as well! ahahahas! this is retribution! but the whole night i kept looking over my shoulder!!

jus got off the phone with my cousin after 2 hours and my ears and phone are burning now :D it prompted me to come online and blog :)
sch feels so weird without melissa and zhi liang ard. whether it is melissa and zhi liang's bickering, zhi liang coming to ka jiao us whether his lesson finish, finding a common time every morn to eat together etc. oh well , at least we are still meeting up for mahjog sessions or meals :)
this week has been a relatively short one. monday was marking day and in the afternoon, our HOD Mr Soo treated the whole mother tongue department to high tea at orchard! initially i didnt want to go but i buckled under 'peer pressure' from ruoyi! hahas... went lots of rounds! hahas... japanese, western, chinese, dim sum. you name it and we ate it! bursting!
tues was supposed to be breakfast and mahjong at my house later on. we were supposed to meet at 9 at lorong ah soo market and only zhicai and i were there at 9! ruoyi and melissa was late for half an hour! hahas... stomaches growling wors!
we had breakfast until 10.30 and went back to my house for mahjong! the four of us were playing while doro was marking the eng scripts．somehow or rather, during half time we started helping doro mark her compos while the mahjogn tiles lie forgotten.....
marking is a very shag job! i was so tired that night that i did nto even finish marking the essays and resigned to doing it in the morn. i dun wan2 be a teacher!!i will die from the marking!!

one heaven of a weekend mans!
friday met up with sirta! long time since i saw her! tink the last time i saw her was during results release day. anyways, sirta has a new haircut which i think makes her look younger :) we ate at ajisen and after filling our growling stomaches, we begin a session of tarot cards reading! :D sirta begin asking about her health, love life and money. the question about her love life she ask 3 times jus to be sure! hahas... i reckon that i will be a rich girl next time if the tarot cards are accurate! :) we had ice cream at macs after that and we were jus lazing ard and talking while waiting for the love of her life to appear :D
sat was mother's day dinner with my grandmother and mahjong at my house later.
sun was the best!! mother's day lunch with my relatives. wanted to eat dim sum but in the end, we ended up eating dishes that are like more suited for chinese new year??!! anyways, it was fun talking nineteen to a dozen with my jie mei :) yay! we went kster after that! i left my jacket in my father's car and i almost freezed to death in the room! we had jay chou and 5566 'concert'! :D super high!! hahas...on the downside, i have completely lost the ability to sing high notes! :x
oh oh!! the most exciting thing is that my jie mei has agreed to go zhang dong liang concert with me!! whoppeee!!! after grumbling for so long that i cant find anyone to go with me,my jie mei finally relented!! yay!! i am going to buy the concert tickets today!! :) :) :)

very soon i will reach my 300th blog post. sounds amazing?? it is only after 5 years of blogging that i reached this number!!
had tonnes of fun again today! today was sarah(the other intern)'s last day and we wanted to go out to eat. but it turned out that the female lead had to go for an moe interview and in the end, we ordered pizza!
zhi liang was as always the source of entertainment! ruoyi is the princess and zhi liang is her ______. and then they started coming up with more names like rou mo mo etc. laugh till pengs!
while the other teachers were marking their heads off, we were laughing and enjoying our pizza! they were resigned to smelling the aroma instead!
school is ending in 2 weeks time and i have a long weekend ahead! why? because there is marking day on monday and tues is a day off for the whole school! so i have 4days off! and i finished marking all their papers!! my colleagues are coming over for mahjong on tues! :D
this week was bliss cause i didnt have to teach and all that i do was go into classes for invigilation! but you can be bored to death with nothing to do! the only exciting thing that happened during invigilation was that i caught a student who attempted to cheat! in the first place,i dun understand how come there are a pile of geog workbooks on the teacher's table right in front of the student during a geog paper!!

my wallet has a hole now! after the tour of nus, i kbox-ed with my colleagues again yest! 5 hours of karaoke later, i am 20 bucks poorer! :p
but yest was super high! my colleagues are a crazy bunch! whenever someone takes the mike, they would stand up and clap and wave their hands like it was a concert! this is esp so for those songs that were super high!! zhi liang was the ultimate one! he put his handphone behind a cup and pretended tat it was a light stick! pengs!!
this sunday will tear another hole through my pocket because my mum's side relatives are having dim sum together and after that, i am going kbox again with my jie mei!! -sees money flying out of the window-
the weather is killing me!! why is there no rain but only humidity?? the sky has been very threatening nowadays but in the end it still doesnt rain! i jus feel like submerging myself in ice water all day long!!
my pack of tarot cards have been very popular! hahas... everyone including myself is fascinated!! anyways, i will be jobless in 2 weeks time when the school term ends and bowen doesnt want us anymore,i will set up a store at some bus interchange and start helping pple tell their fortune with my tarot cards! :D
NTU or NUS?? arggh!
but yest was super high! my colleagues are a crazy bunch! whenever someone takes the mike, they would stand up and clap and wave their hands like it was a concert! this is esp so for those songs that were super high!! zhi liang was the ultimate one! he put his handphone behind a cup and pretended tat it was a light stick! pengs!!
this sunday will tear another hole through my pocket because my mum's side relatives are having dim sum together and after that, i am going kbox again with my jie mei!! -sees money flying out of the window-

went nus today with my colleagues as tour guides, one of which graduated from fass. so bingo!
there is a shorter route to nus den 151 which is to take nel to harbour front station and take 10 to kent ridge terminal and climb lots and lots of stairs before reaching fass.
first stop: arts canteen which has won the best canteen on campus award. it looked like a hawker centre but was much cleaner and the view was quite super! the food is cheap too. :) sounds nice for my wallet sia.
second stop: tour of the fass building!the library was awesome! and as it was the exam period, the library was bursting with pple and you could see pple sitting on the floor. we didnt have the 'matrix card' so we couldn go into the library and could only peek in from the windows!
third stop: student union. that place is uber cool!! it was like a shopping centre with subway, cheers, new zealand natural,clinic etc. despite jus having finished our lunch,we decided to have an ice cream cone each while walking to the science block so that ruoyi can see the building which her beloved foo studied in many donkey years ago! :D
forth stop: admin block! that place sticks out from the whole campus like a sore thumb. why? because its super super nicee and new as compared to the surrounding buildings!! we went in and took lots of crazy photos! with ice cream dripping all over the place... when we were taking photos besides the flowers, the security walked past and looked at us in amusement. guess what ruoyi told him "We are crazy!" the security guard roared with laughter and walked away!!
last stop: science block which looks like JTC. hahas... we sneaked into an empty lecture hall but it was so black and errie that we came running out again! :D
end of the nus tour. we took 74 from dover road and i only reached hougang one hour 45mins later! i tink i will jus stick to the mrt route!

this week had been an incredibly short week for me, with me taking mc on both mnday and tuesday.
labour day was the first time i experienced it as an employee! one word:bliss!! :D hahas... had dim sum with my family and i finally decided to spend money to buy tarot cards! there was a wide range of tarot cards available in the glass cabinet and i didnt know which one to choose. in the end, i guess took the pack of tarot cards that were new and still wrapped in plastic! :D didnt really take a good look at it until friday!
friday was new york new york with ming and jovena. when we were waiting for the food, we started taking out the tarot cards and playing with it. though inexperienced cause we had to always refer to the instruction book, i tink we did pretty well as fake gyspies! ahahahass!! i was the first one and i asked which uni should i choose. the cards told me to go with my heart and not care about other elements [or this is how we read it] so i guess it will most prob be NTU :)
ate super a lot and i always died from a bursting stomach! :D we ordered 2 plates of dessert! greedy!!
i am going to study the driver's handbook soon! cause i decided that i want to learn driving! :D
