whoo hooo! my bad habit is back: failure to update my blog regularly! :p it has been 2 weeks almost since i was away! in the meantime a few updates of what i have been doing! (:

1) karoke session plus steamboat dinner with alpheus/programmers

it was supposed to be alpheus karoke session but in the end turn out only me, shiru, zhijun, hong ping and yanwei can make it! and coincidentally we were programmers for arts camp too! so it was a secret alpheus/programmmers outing? whahahaha!

our steamboat dinner was like a jin zhen gu buffet! shiru and yanwei were crazy about jin zhen gu and they kept refilling our plates with jin zhen gu! tsk tsk!

2) cycling+pony feeding+popeyes with sab and uncle chong! jus a random urge to go cycling the night before and i was super surprised that there will be people who dun mind going cycling with me even when i ask them at 11 plus the night before! yays! (:

uncle chong brought us to some very ulu pony stable in pasir ris park! but its super fun lahs! can feed them straws and pat them! wheee! (: but unfortunately cant ride the pony! cause only for CHILDREN! one day i will go to the bukit timah stables and ride a HORSE!

we had a stunning moment when we went to the playground! we were playing with the children and helping them rotate this thingie when suddenly one boy said to sab 'HELLO BABY!' ahahahaha! both of us were stunned, wondering if we heard the right thing! whahahaha! den when we took photo with them, the bohy said 'i want to stand beside the BEAUTIFUL girl!' tsk tsk! so small also so sweet tongue! this boy will be a girl killer next time mans! and he is non other than the boy who is trying to be funny by putting his hand on sab's hair!

only my bicycle got basket and uncle chong called me aunty! grrr!

we headed to airport after for popeyes! (: yay! i love the mash potatoes! :D

3) botantic gardens with arts camp ocomm today! (:

all i can say is that my tarot cards are a very good investment cause they were very popular! hahaha! all i can say is may all good things be true (: esp for my dj course de! :D did super lots of jump shots too! super tiring!

4) genting trip over the weekend with my family! the weather was superb! all i can say is that going overseas everytime jus gives me one more reason to love sunny little singapore! :D really! after travelling from genting to the airport, i can only say that i wouldnt ever complain about travelling from hougang to jurong again! or anywhere else that is 'far' from hougang! didnt managed to win my target of 5000rm! in the end only win 210rm! yesh! i sneaked into the casino! whoo hoo!

5) there is no more gelares at hougang mall! i met up with jovena on the last tues that gelares was in operations!! it was a super random afternoon when i msg jov to ask her out for lunch and she didnt have to work that day so we say can eat half price waffle too! imagine our horror when we saw that it was the last time we will be eating tuesdays half price waffles! boo hoo hoo!!

jov headed back to my house and we played tarot cards too! jov's wash toilet husband, where are you??! whahahahaha! [i can see jovena throwing the shoes at me! :P]

6) dinner with shiru and xin yun on sat! (: plus lunch with dory in the afternoon on the same day! (: its nicee to jus talk and catch up over a meal with dear friends (:

i rmb somewhere in the archive of this blog, i mentioned that the state of busyness that i was in was insane and i was grumbling about it because of the lack of sleep and how i did not have time for myself sometime during sem1.

well, i can say that although i am just as busy now, i am actually enjoying the busyness (: hmmm... i jus it has really got a lot to do with the people that you are working with. back then, the comm that i was working with was a comm that makes me wan to run away from them, dun turn up for meetings, ignore phone calls and sms until the very last moment.

now, i love the comm that i am working with aka arts camp 2009 comm esp the programmers (: that day i was talking to hong ping abt it and we agreed that all the programmers are very very nicee people who are always ready to help out in terms of log or being station ic or giving productive feedback. (: and hong ping was saying that this year's programmes can tell that everyone put in a lot of effort and the games arent jus thought out to be fillers. this i got to totally agree with him (: i really enjoying working and hanging out with them (: i dun mind going for meetings and i dun reply sms or answer phone call until the last moment possible! :D and of cos your heads make a very big diff too. for now, i am enjoying the hustle and bustle of being a programmer (: yay!

nowadays, i'm super happy with how my life is going (: so much so that sometimes i feel like dancing in the rain and shouting my happiness out to the world :D

whoo hoo! the 3 of us were the earliest! we met at woodlands mrt at 5 and we took 187 to bukit batok csc where zhijun's 21st was. before that i bought a pair of black heels to fit my dress! (:

we attempted to help with the decorations by blowing up the ballons! we formed a worker chain. yanwei will blow the balloon, pok will hold the balloon and i will tie them up! as can be seen from yanwei's face, he almost died! there was one totally er xin moment when somehow or rather, yanwei sucked back the air from the balloon that he was blowing :s yucks! me and pok jumped away in horror! pok has purposely apply lip gloss so that she doesnt have to blow the balloons! sneaky!

in the meantime, we were entertaining ourselves with taboo! (:

and camwhoring! :D me and pok are taller than xin yun with heels! :D

ade is rich again after collecting money from us for the present!

sab and ade gets a shock! sab and ade were posing for my camera when melvin decided to throw a ballon at them! bingo! the balloon hit them on the head and hence the expression on their faces! :D

PSI hunting and meeting sponsor with desmond, yanwei and shuli. for the first time in many many months, I WAS ON TIME!!! i think i deserve a pat on the back! hahaha! cause if i late i have to treat lunch! :P i was so determined to be early dat i got nightmare the night before regarding this meeting! scary!!

rotted in burger king for about 1.5 hours den we decided to take photos for PSI. as the time was nearing for us to meet the boss of decoder's cafe, we went ard holland v asking everyone if they knew where this place was. only to have everyone look at us blankly! in the end, after many phone calls and pleas for help, we found out that decoder's was act at clementi! not holland v!

aiyoyo! but i found back traces of my sec sch days in holland v! each a cup! my fruity yoghurt! whoo hoo! (:

after meeting the sponsor, we went ard clementi taking more photos for PSI. when we finished, we headed to the arcade!! :D all work no play makes jojo a dull girl! :D whahahaha! yanwei lost to xiao mei mei when he play the basketball machine! :D

fri
arts camp registration! reported for duty at 11 plus. the response was seriously not bad (: hanged ard until 1.30 den went for lunch with zhijun (: shokudo! whahaha! as always!

tuition from 3-6 before heading back to city hall to meet zhijun, ade and supposedly yanwei for dinner! we closed shop at 8.10 with the 70th freshie!

zhijun, ade and i went to ting tai feng to chop seats and we sms yanwei that we were there. so happily thinking that yanwei will be there to finish the food, we ordered super a lot! only to find out that mr soh yanwei was on the way home when ade called him! whoosh! so we called evon to for help!!

the xiao long bao was whoo hoo! superb! it was so nicee that zhijun wanted to eat 10 笼小笼包！whahahaha! slip of tongue!

i have to get up at 6 tmr for the bare ur sole charity event! so i am off to bed to replenish as much sleep as i can!! nights world!

jojo has pushed her limits yet again! for 60 hours, she has slept for only 4 hours! whoo hoo! jus came back from ARTS CAMP PRE CAMP 2009! super tiring but super satisfying too! ((:

one of my programmes: Sports Day was tested out and i was station ICs for the rest of the programmes that was tested out! all the programmers were zombie-fied by the end of pre camp but i mus really salute our 2 dpds: shuli and yanwei! the 2 of them like roborts de! no need sleep de! and the best thing is that when we are sleep deprived, we tend to be irritable and bad tempered. but the 2 of them can still smile and push on! woots! for that, they are my new ou xiangs! more of endurance to come during arts camp!

i mus promote banana boat sun block lotion here! its super good cause i didnt get burnt! i needed such a powerful sun block cause my mum say that she will disown me if i dare to come home as black as i was after arts camp last year! ):

not allowed to disclose too much details here but my fave station is the night games station! (: lots of shampoo and foam!

i was paired up with desmond aka mr wings for beach games and ours was a real disgusting station! one that involve a whole og sharing a biscuit coated with chilli sauce! wah seh! i wanted to make the biscuit more disgusting so i dripped 2 drops of h2o onto the chilli sauce. den desmond say got chemical reaction, the sauce will become warm de! i cant believe that i really believe him lahs! i put my hand over the biscuit to feel if there is really heat emitted and he pia my hand into the sauce! YUCKS! it smelt super terrible lahs!! grrr! of cos i retaliated by smearing the sauce on my hand onto his leg! hmph! sweet revenge!

and i swear never ever to take a van driven by jing chun! the programmers took the van that jing chun was driving to sentosa to set up log for beach games and boy was that the scariest ride of my life! the van engine will suddenly die down and we had 3 close shaves! the situation was so bad that jing chun had to stop on the highway and zikang, cyan and desmond got off to take a cab! it was that bad! but when you are on tight bidget, a about to fall apart van is all that you can afford!

the sun was scorchingly hot on both days! i could have evaporated on the spot! the 'chilli, garlic, onion' ritual was super effctive! shuli bought chilli padi and there was 8 chilli padi in each packet of garlic, onion and chilli! there was a total of 8 packets for every programme whcih meant 64 chilli padis in total! jus imagine how spicy the 64 chilli padis are and you can roughly gauge how hot the weather was! remind me to bring my water bottle for arts camp! phews!
