Wow! Time Flies!

Ok.... Seriously it has been 6 months since I have updated our Blog! CRAZY. What am I thinking. I feel a little overwhelmed trying to post what has happened the last 6 months so I probably won't. We are very happy living in California! It has been a wonderful move! Definitely miss North Carolina but feel truly blessed to be back in Cali. The kid's are thriving. Growing so fast and keeping us laughing every minute. We started pre school a few weeks back. It is a great pre school that both Samantha and Hunter can participate in and they love it. I get kind of tired of the 4 days a week thing but it has been so beneficial for them it is TOTALLY worth the sacrifice. Here are some pictures from the past 6 months........

To Our Favorite Dad and Husband!!!!

Well Father's Day has come and gone and I have not updated the Blog! We love Stephan so much I wanted to make sure that we made note of some of his best qualities. Samantha had this to say about her dad...

Me: What do you love about your Dad?

Samantha: "Well (Long Pause) I love him and.... he can play with us alot. He's pretty BIG and he let's me lay on his back and take rides."

Samantha is the Apple of Stephan's eye. She has him wrapped around her finger. Stephan is such a patient loving Dad to Samantha. They have there own little inside jokes that sometimes drive me crazy! He is always willing to drop what he is doing to give her a snuggle. Samantha LOVES Snuggles so this is quite often. They also love watching "Scary Movies" together like Star Wars.
The picture above is Hunter doing what he loves best. Running while his Dad chases him. Having a Boy has been so much fun for Stephan and I. Hunter is Stephans mini me in looks and personality which helps Stephan understand him better than anyone. He has often helped me understand what exactly Hunter is frustrated about. Hunter loves to climb all over his Dad and boss him around with his numersous cave man grunts. We are quite spoiled to have Stephan work from home and Hunter is always very distressed when Stephan is gone at meetings. If we come home to an empty house he yells Dad and looks everywhere for him. Then when he does get home he runs and yells DAAAAAAD. I can't imagine what he would do if Stephan worked outside of the house.
I can never get a picture with both the kids eyes open. But this picuture captured Hunters weird little habit of twisting his hair into dreadlocks. Great Shot of Stephan.
Honestly who wouldn't love these little faces!!!! Thanks for everything Stephan you mean the world to us!

Family Fun!

Hunter and Samantha love our front porch. They especially love coloring with chalk.
Obviously Hunter is pleased with himself about something and Samantha is Ticked!!! LOL
Daddy and Hunter playing with the camera. Hunter loves hanging out with his dad and doing everything that he does. His two favorite things are shredding paper with Stephan and typing on his adding machine when Stephan looks away.
Samantha and her Dad have been having a blast together lately. Stephan plays all sorts of games with them. The other night Sam was brought into bed riding on Dad's back . Just like Prince Ali came in on an elephants back! :) LOL

Samantha the Dancing Star!

Samantha was able to take Dance this last few months with Miss Camielle! She had a blast. They did ballet and clogging. It was so fun to watch her. She took it very seriously and was so proud of herself.
I have to admit that I often live vicariously through my daughter! I just adore her and want her to have the best of everything and at the same time not spoil her! LOL I was a very proud Mom that night. I got tears in my eyes when she was dancing. Pretty Sappy Stuff :)
This was the best shot of Hunter and Samantha together. We could not get Hunter to stand still for anything. He loved watching Sammy dance. He especially loved when he somehow made it out on the stage at Dress Rehearsal with all of the cute little bumble bees (2 and 3 year olds)
This is Samantha with her whole Dance class and her wonderful teacher Miss Camielle. She was lucky enough to have Miss Camielle for dance and preschool this past month. She LOVES Miss Camielle!

Uncle Josef and Samantha. Sammy loves her uncle! Mimi and Grandad came along with Aunt Sciu Sciu and Uncle Josef. What a loved and adored little girl. She is chomping at the bit to do dance class again so hopefully we can find something as affordable in California for her. Maybe I could teach a class!?!?! I'm a really talented Hip Hop Dancer! LOL HAHAHAHAHAHA

Atlantic Beach!!!

We went on a family trip to the beach a couple of weeks ago to celebrate Uncle Graeme's Birthday! We all had such a great time! It was super nice for me because with all of Stephan's family there I didn't have to chase after the kids on my own. Above and below are pictures of Hunter you will notice he is on a towel. He was not a fan of the sand. He did not spend alot of time on the beach but had fun running around the Condo scamming on all of the treats.



Samantha on the other hand LOVES the beach! I'm talking like she spent 10 hours out there at one time. She plays in the sand rolls in the sand digs in the sand etc.... Below is a picture of Samantha and Grandad flying a kite it was taken from the Condo window which is why it seems so far. I had to post this because this was probably the highlight of her trip. Flying the kite and spending so much time with Granddad. He was so nice and took her to the beach anytime she wanted and even dug her a little pool in the sand. Mimi and Granddad were wonderful to the kids. What a fun time we had!!!!

Easter Fun!

I have decided my favorite part of any blog it the pictures so I'm giving you a lot :) Above is Hunter having his Chocolate Easter Bunny for his Easter Breakfast. Can you tell he is HAPPY! The hard part was getting it from him.
Sam loved her chocolate bunny for breakfast as well. Although she is covering her eyes because she said the flash hurts them. She was a little ticked however....

Sam: Mom why did the Easter bunny not bring us very much candy?

Me: Well Sam I sent him a letter and told him you got enough from the 3 Easter Egg Hunts you had last week! But look he brought you crayons and coloring books and sunglasses and cars.....

Sam: But I just like a lot of candy
Goofy Sammy faces! This was at Mimi and Granddad's on the day of the family Easter brunch and egg hunt. We all had a blast! Stephan's Mom out did herself!!!
Hunter quite enjoyed the hunt for the eggs. Although he was more interested in what was inside of them. There was many a jelly bean left in the back yard.
I bought a Sesame Street egg dying kit since Hunter LOVES Big Bird. This is Samantha very intently stirring her egg so that it was fully colored.
Hunter loved dying the eggs and thought he was so cool. However he also got quite frustrated when I tried to help him and there were a few close calls with the eggs and the dye. However it all turned out great!
This is quite a funny picture because it is very typical. Samantha is actually being quite bossy right now " No no Hunter we don't touch the eggs" She is a great big sister but I often have to remind her that I am the Mom. Hunter just screams at her!
