Me Update

So if you have a Nike + you will know that you get trophies when you hit Milestones. Tonight I reached 100 miles in a little over 2 months. I almost didn't meet my monthly goal of 55 miles, I was a major slacker this past week. But I walked in the morning and tonight to make sure I hit my goal.

Tonight I was going to go see the movie Ultramarathon Man with some friends that I have been running with on Saturday. We drove to the movie which was in West Valley (40 miles from my house) and the theatre never got the film so they canceled the movie and gave us our money back. It really sucks because there was a theatre that is 5 miles from my house that was playing the movie but my friends all wanted to go together and some of them are north of the theatre. It sucked we didn't see the movie but it was fun going to dinner with friends.

Also my friend let me use her Crochet book and I have found 2 patterns that I am going to make blankets for 2 new nephews that are coming end of the year. People need to start having girls I have found some really cute girl patterns I want to do but no one is having a girl that I know of.

Also it is weird my feet are also swollen tonight for some reason. I wonder if it is from wearing shoes with a hill or if I need to drink more water.

I better go I started my bath water and it is probably over flowing.

10K July 24th

I am going to be running the Deseret Morning News 10k on July 24th. I have talked a Friend\Co-worker into running the race with me before we have to work on Thursday. It will be fun to run the race with Kami. I will let you know how it goes after it is over. Check out the race the registrations closes today but you can sign up in person the 22nd-23rd http://www.deseretnews.com/run/ My grandma said should win the race so I can get the money. I told her there is no way I will win this race or any race.

Crochet

This is for my crocheting friends and my co-workers that wanted to see some of the blankets I have made. The blankets below I have made in the past year plus a lot more. I like to crochet while watching TV or sitting around talking with friends or family it keeps my hands busy instead of wanting to snack on food. :)

This Blanket I made for my family room. I love it it is about 6 1/2 feet by 6 1/2 feet.

This is the current blanket I am working on.

I made one in June just like it for my niece for her birthday.

The below blanket I have made for a co-worker who is having a baby girl.

I haven't gotten around to giving it to her yet.

This blanket will be for one of the people that I know that is having a baby boy. I don't like making blankets in baby pastal colors like green and yellow. Baby blue blankets are okay sometimes.

This is a Camo pink blanket I made it is really cute.

I made a baby blanket out of just regular camo yarn for my brother's dog it was really cute.

There you have it a few of the blankets I have made in the past year. This past year I have made one for 3 of my nieces, 2 for my brothers, 2 for my sisters, one for my brother's dog and a few baby blankets. I need to get to work on more blankets I need to make 2 more baby boy blankets and one for my brother. I have purchased the yarn for my brother's blanket but I need ot choose colors for the boy blankets. If you have any idea's for blanket colors let me know.

Summer Fun

I forgot how cool it is to play video games when you are a kid. This is my nephew that was in town from California. He kept asking if he could go to my house after a few times I realized he wanted to play our Xbox. It was fun playing the games with him.

He says the cutest things he would say everything was either awesome, cool, or amazing.

Sleep Over

My sister has been in town for a few weeks so Thursday night I had her kids and 2 of my brother's kids sleep over for a total of 5 kids. I wish all my nieces and nephews could sleep over but there is no way I can handle 9 kids at one time. It was fun till I had to put them to bed. I always stress out when they won't go to sleep and they want to stay up and talk to each other.

Jason stayed with them when he could tell I was frustrated with them. So I took a bath and shaved my legs because we were going swimming the next day and they were scary. While I was in the tub the 2 youngest nieces decided they needed to tell me something and came to talk to me while I was shaving my legs. They could care less I was in the tub but I was thinking oh crap I am going to kill Jason for letting them come talk to me.

In the morning I let them pick their breakfast. So I made Eggs for my nephew, make pancakes for 2 nieces, and 2 nieces wanted cereal. It was worth letting them pick that night my 3 year old niece was telling me she loved the pancakes I made.

Sad

So we were going to run the Hobble Creek Half marathon but I went to Runner's Corner and they said that it is full. So I need to figure what race I am going to do now. If anyone knows of a good half marathon let me know.
