Dying Eggs FHE

We had so much fun dying Easter Eggs last night for FHE! The kids were so funny, and I loved watching Will as he would get so excited to put his eggs from the yellow dye to the orange dye (we stuck with the lightest colors for him). Love that Claire and Gracie just wanted pink and later purple, such girlie girls!

Family Time!

I love it when my family gets to come to town, even if it is only for 1 day!! I guess we'll take what we can get! Thanks Bubba for cutting Gracie's hair, it looks so much better! I love the cute pictures of Will and Brooklyn! Thanks aunt Kinzea for having a tea party with Grace before you left, it made her day!! She is counting down when you come next time and wear your princess dress with her!!

I thought he would dig into his cake, but he didn't. Once he finally got his hands in there, he was not a fan! He just got mad after he was all dirty! But if we held the plate up he would bend over and eat the cake. What a funny boy!

And he was not happy at all to be washed off in the chilly lake!

Grace loved the frosting off the cake!

Happy Birthday Livi!!

A couple of weeks before her birthday, Olivia decided she wanted her own room so the only option was the basement. She was so excited to move down there. I made her stay down there a week or so before we even moved any clothes down, just to make sure we weren't going to just move them back upstairs. But she LOVES it. So for her birthday, I locked her out of her room for 2 days and got to work. Its not completely done, but we painted her wall in aqua stripes and built a headboard out of an old door I saved from the house before it was torn down at the greenhouses. And I bought a chandelier and painted it. I think all those things turned out great!! Can't wait to finish the rest of the room and put things on the walls!

Livi enjoyed birthday crepes and then had a friend "fish" party and swam. Needless to say, I think the birthday was a success this year!
