HALLOWEEN

We had a great Halloween this year. Livi finally made up her mind of what she wanted to be about a week before and so naturally I was finishing her costume as our ward trunk-or-treat was starting. But lets be honest, all the girls really cared about was the candy not the soup dinner beforehand. Between spouts of the flu for both the girls and Greg, we finally got our pumpkins carved on Halloween right before we went out trick-or-treating. I was surprised that Grace didn't mind helping take out the pumpkin guts. And the favorite part of it all was drawing on the pumpkins, for both girls. Overall we had a great Halloween! And I'm sure Will even enjoyed his first halloween as well, although he spent most of his time sleeping.
Ward trunk-or-treat. Grace had fallen asleep in the car and had just woken up, she wasn't so sure about the whole thing at first but it didn't take her too long to figure out how to get treats!
Ghost pancakes for breakfast, which is definitely a favorite of the girls!Livi ready for school...The girls gutted the pumpkins and then we drew the faces on them and daddy carved them.

Newborn Pics

My cute cousin came and took newborn pics of Will for us when he was a week old. I LOVE how they turned out. I know there is a picture overload but I love them all and couldn't choose! Thanks so much Kell!!

And a picture of all my kiddos! I sure love being a mom to these three kids! They definitely keep life interesting and fun and crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way!! (Except for maybe some more sleep :))

WILL G ROPER

He's here and we are completely smitten with this little boy!! I know I'm a little late in posting this! He will be 3 weeks tomorrow but better late than never! Will is such a good baby! I'm sure Heavenly Father new I needed a good baby to be able to handle my crazy girls! But overall we are doing well adjusting to 3 kids- which still seems super crazy to have 3!! My mom was so nice to come and stay with us for a while to help and I wasn't sure I was going to be ok when she left, but we're hanging in there! So far it hasn't been too bad.

Perfect!!

Livi watching Will get his first bathProud big sisters!! They love their baby Will! Since they have both been feeling better, they are both doing really well with adjusting to having a baby. Every once in a while Grace wants to be held when I am feeding Will or changing a diaper but other than that she has done pretty good which I'm so grateful for cause I was pretty nervous!

Happy Birthday OLIVIA!!

I can't believe that Livi is 6 years old!! She is getting so big and learning so many things! She learned to ride her bike this summer, is an AWESOME swimmer, and such a good and patient big sister!! She had such a fun birthday - it lasted a couple days lucky girl!! On her birthday we had traditional crepes for breakfast, played, she chose to go to Zupas with grandmommy and granddaddy, and ended the day swimming for a little bit. The next day she had a birthday swimming party. She is so lucky that our pool was finished by her birthday!

We even had a bunch of the super long sparklers that we did for her birthday!

Surprise...

We couldn't be more excited at our house that a baby BOY is on HIS way!! I am due October 8 so I am almost 29 weeks. I feel so grateful and excited to have a healthy baby boy on it's way! The girls are very excited, well at least Livi is. I don't think Grace has any idea what is going on except she will point to my tummy and say baby, but I think it will be a wake up call for her! She gets a little jealous even when I hold other babies, so we'll see how this works out for us. I have been feeling really good, a little tired, but I think that could possibly be coming from chasing a very active 18 month old all over. We are so excited and besides having to name a boy, we can't wait to be adding some blue to our house!

The Cabin

I'm going to get caught up sometime, but here is our most recent adventure. We went up to the cabin for a day and had so much fun. It was so nice up there! We went on a fun ranger ride and found some snow (13 people in Grandpa Ropers ranger), and just relaxed. So much fun just spending time together.Cute Claire!

Isn't she a little old....

to cut her own hair??! I thought that at 5 years old we were past the cutting hair stage. We had just talked to her about it not too long before she did this too!! Luckily we were at my moms house so she fixed it for us, but man, I thought we were long past this stage!! She sure looks cute though!!
