Refund & Return Policy

This Refund & Return Policy applies to all purchases made through Villainy Ink and The Grimdark Compendium.

1. Return Eligibility for Physical Products

Customers may request a return for eligible physical products within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
  • The product must be in resalable condition.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective, damaged, or incorrect item).

2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Digital goods, including online courses, downloads, tutorials, and any other digital content.
  • Any item that has been opened, used, or altered by the customer.

Digital goods are delivered instantly and therefore are not eligible for refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery for assistance.
We may request photographs of the product or packaging in order to process your claim.

4. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect an approved return:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Refund processing may take 3–7 business days, depending on your financial institution.

Shipping costs paid on the original order are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
