#3

I have not posted in FOREVER! We had a series of events that contributed to the lack of posts. Started in Nov. with a bunch of stuff getting heisted including my computer. A month later we did replace it along with our washing machine (my college one malfunctioned and flooded our home.) Which brings us to December! After X-mas we did some remodeling, replacing floors and repainting, this was precipitated by us ripping out carpet from the flood. James got the flu in the midst of the remodeling, this is also when my sweet Daddy was in ICU with pneumonia, followed by emergency gallbladder surgery. We are in January now, this was also the time we learned that baby #3 is cooking! Eventful to say the least : )

We are praising God that my Dad is recovering and doing well, our house was finished, James got better and baby seems to be doing well!

A few Zoe'isms:

Zoe was asking James "So when we die are are BORN AGAIN to go be with Jesus, does that mean we will all be tiny babies in Heaven?"

Zoe asked me, "Mom are you going to barf up that baby in your tummy?" My answer "No God keeps the baby safe" (I didn't want to explain anatomy to my 3 yr. old at the time). Zoe says "So God leaves your heart and goes down to your tummy to hold that baby?" ..... Yes I say!

**The pictures are from one of our Family Fun Nights, this is a tradition we do on a Friday or Saturday night. It usually involves the Wii ; )

Shelby's Book Character Parade at KOR

End of October?!?! How did that happen? These pictures are of Shelby's 1st grade Halloween Party and her book character parade/dress up day!
Shelby is loving 1st grade and Zoe is loving preschool! We feel super blessed with these amazing school and super kind teachers that love my girls and love to teach. We love our schedule of being done with school by 12:30, getting to eat lunch do homework, have some down time and then do things in the evening.

Happy 3rd and 6th Birthday!

Although I said I wouldn't do a combined party for the girls again, we ended up doing just that. The girls birthday's are so close together and they want a lot of the same friends at their parties, and they both wanted a swim party....done! Besides being H O T it was a super fun party.

This is a conversation Zoe and I have had several times over the last few weeks.

Z: Mom am I 3 now?

Me; Yes you are 3.

Z: (sigh) yup just plane ol three.

And Shelby keeps saying, I'm not fake 6 anymore am real 6!

Happy DIAMOND Anniversary!

James and I just celebrated our 10th Anniversary! I just learned that it is your diamond Anniversary (#10, and #60).
I didn't get a diamond but I did get my birth stone (peridot) earrings and a beautiful ring from James Avery. Anniversary's are so much fun and we are always amazed at how fast the years go by, but so incrediably blessed!

We were going to be in CO with James's family so we opted to celebrate early. My parents were in town for a doctor's visit and it was also my Mom's birthday so we went to celebrate all together with a DELICIOUS meal at Christopher's followed by a funny movie. It was a wonderful night!
