Free Activity Night for Kids

Here is a great opportunity for anyone in the Graham Stake with children! This is from the young single adult ward in our stake

Monday December 14th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm we would like to volunteer to babysit as a service project during our family home evening time, so parents can go out and do their Christmas shopping. We will have a variety of activities for the children such as coloring, creating cards, playing games, watching a Christmas movie, eating a small treat, and having a special guest reading Christmas stories. The children that are allowed to be signed up must be between the ages of 4 and 11 and we are taking the first 75 children that are signed up. Email me at [email protected] with the parents names, contact phone numbers, childrens names and ages, and any other notes that may be specific to their children.
I just heard that they have plenty of space left so, lets help them out and get this night filled up!

Weekly Activities

Hello Sisters!

Wasn't it a beautiful weekend?

This week we have two wonderful activities going on. The first is happening wednesday morning. We have a fun group of women attending the Temple together. We will meet at the home of Colleen Smith (that would be me!) at 8:45 in the morning. We try to make the 10 am session and then have lunch in the cafeteria together before heading home. If you are planning on attending please contact me so we can be sure to have enough drivers. Hope to see you wednesday morning!

The next activity is for all you crafty people. I have had a lot of requests for a card class. So, friday morning at 9:30 we are making it happen! The cost is $5 for 10 cards/plus envelopes. I know this is a half-day for a lot of kids so that is why we are doing it early-you should be done and home before the kiddos get off the bus. This class is being held at The Craft Cottage (12016 199th St E-behind the Puckett's home). Call me on my cell if you need directions or get lost (253-820-7980). Drop me an email([email protected]) /or phone call if you think you might be coming(unless you already signed up!) so, I can be sure to have enough supplies ready for everyone. You don't need to bring anything-and, kids are always welcome so don't let that stop you from coming!

One more thing-I am trying to finish the newsletter for June, if you have any announcements please get them to me as soon as possible. Thanks!

Have a great week!

KISS Kick Off

What a wonderful evening! Our Presidency explained KISS to us and what we are going to learn through the year. We laughed, we cried, and we felt the spirit. Then, we ate chocolate and had a great time visiting with each other. We have heard from many of you that went that you enjoyed the evening. Here are some pictures from that night. If you weren't able to attend, please be sure to ask one of us for your Hands of Heaven handout so you have a place to put each of the goals as they are handed out through out the year.
