Happy Birthday Leigh!

Today was a hard day not being with Leigh on her birthday, but I know that she was celebrating with us! So Happy Birthday to my sweet sister! I miss our talks, journeys, and just hanging out. One day we will celebrate together as for now we always remember your sweet smile and make sure that the kids know of your strength, love, beauty for all things in life. Love you!

To make have the day filled with smiles we celebrated Marleigh's Birthday a little early.
Debbie the kids had so much fun letting the balloons go to Leigh! Thanks so much!!

So I am super blessed to have wonderful talented people in my life! Thanks so much Joyce for making the girls outfits!! They ARE SO cute!! I love them!!

Easter

Thank you all for your kind thoughts for us on Easter. I am not going to say that Easter was easy, but at the same time Easter has not always been the best time. Long ago Leigh was told that she had Hodgkin on April fools day (if only it was all just a joke) so that Easter was not the best. Before the kids we would hide eggs for the the dogs. We did spend many happy Easters together, but not being with her and the kids was very hard. I found the girls some sweet dresses that had little sunflowers on them I knew Leigh would have loved them! I will post pictures of the girls together later.

We did have a very nice day with Grammy, Grandpa, and the family.
Thanks for having us over and thanks for all the goodies!

Thank you Easter Bunny!!

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
