Troubles

I have been trying to post pics but I can't! :(

WOW - I can't believe it has been over a year since I have posted to my blog. For everyone out there I just want to say sorry for the neglect! I will try to do better this year (another New Year's resolution). I have completed two pages on Dragon's Lair since that last post from November 2013. I packed it away and haven't worked on it much, to be honest - I haven't done very much cross stitching the last 12 + months. Life kinda gets in the way we you have 5 boys and a house to manage. Trying to enjoy all my time with them while it's still "COOL" for them to do so!

Dragon's Lair

I have completed pages 1-4 which means I am done with the top row of the pattern. Done on 18 ct Aida using 2 strands of DMC thread, full X stitches.

The top picture is the before picture (June 5, 2013)

Great News! I have a Finish! YAY! I have completed Celestrial Dragon for my little mini-me, now to get it framed and have pictures :)

I also finished page 2 of HAED QS-Rochelle by Hannah Disney, and thank goodness page 3 is just a partial page...whew!

And....I am currently working on "Froggie Fun" birth sampler for my niece. Pics soon!

Update as of 6.20.13

I have been working hard on completing the bead work on Celestrial Dragon (it is for my son C) This July will make 2 years that I have been working on it...UGH! So as of last night I finished the bead work on the moon (pearl white beads) and on the Dragon's wings (green beads). I also finished the head of the Dragon (purple beads). Now all I have left is the belly of the Dragon and a few more pearl beads around the head. (Lets hope the belly doesn't take too long!)

Dragon's Lair-Gail Gastfield

Dragon's Lair-Gail Gastfield for my hubby. I can't remember but it is done on 16ct or 18ct aida....oops! I have completed page 1 and 2 of the design and I am currently working on page 3 and 4 (2 or 3 little colums).

Celestrial Dragon update for my son Cole. Done on 14ct aida. I am now adding the beads, and that is almost as much work as doing the cross stitch. :)

Here is the update on QS Rochelle designed by Heaven and Earth, Hannah Lynn as of 06.04.13. She is stitched on 25ct white duplin using two strands.
