First Day Home
On Sunday The 24th Of July Kinzlee and I were released from the Hospital to go home. Chet and I were so excited to take her home to see where she will live. And to meet her dog Ty. Ty did really well with her. From the first moment he was very gentle and calm with Kinzlee.
Kinzlee and I just walked into the house and settled down to relax. (I had no idea how exhausting little things would be after having a C section)
After getting rested up from the ride home we showed Kinzlee where she would be sleeping. This Bassinet is the one my mom and all of her siblings were in and My brother and I also were in. Now Kinzlee gets to sleep in it for a few months.
She didn’t seem to complain and seemed quite content and at home!
Chet took her outside and showed her the yard let her see the trees and told her about the flag and why it was up that day for the 24th of July!
Daddy and his little girl!
Kinzlee has been able to push her head up since she was born here we are showing how she can do it. I promise Chet held on to her right after I took the picture.
Here Kinzlee is all bundled up and ready to go to sleep for the night.
How sweet is she. It felt so good to have her home and to have got through our first day at home with our precious little girl!

We had such a great stay at the hospital and had many wonderful Nurses that helped us out and took such good care of us. Thanks to everyone at Central Valley Medical Center for a great stay.

The Name…
So our little girl didn’t get her name until Jully 22nd. We decided on the name Kinzlee Zella Ingram. How we came up with it. Well girl names I feel are kinda hard. I have always had a bunch of boy names I liked but hadnt really had any for girls. Same with Chet well while I was pregnant we had chose a couple out (and none of them were Kinzlee) But one night I had a dream about us talking about names and the ones we had in mind came up and one other and my heck I could not remember it for anything. Well on one of my MANY frequent bathroom trips I said out loud Kinzlee That was the other name Kinzlee. Well after she was here and we got to know her a little bit she sure wasn’t any of the names we talked about but sure was the one I dreamed of. And Zella came from Chet’s Grandma Ingram who he says raised him as much as his parents did. She was one of his biggest female influences and role models for him when he was growing up.
Now how we told our families. Well when my brother and his family came and my parents were there we said ok we decided on a name finally and let them all know. Later when Chet’s family came in each one we had it written up on the white board of what her name was and waited until they noticed. It took them all a while to notice and they had to play musical chairs to get them to notice. The picture at the top is what Chet’s Aunt Robyn did in place of the Original so everyone could see her name when they came to visit. Here is the original that Chet wrote up on the board. (The board also helped us decide on what name suited her and how to spell it.) Kinzlee just flowed well.
