Polar Express
All Aboard!! In December we took the kids up to Williams, AZ to go to the Polar Express. The kids had so much fun. We joined up with 5 families from the Ward and sat by them on the train. On the train they give you hot chocolate (which this year they tried something new and it was really gross), and a cookie. On the way (or from, can't remember)to the North Pole, they read you the book Polar Express. You make a drive by of the North Pole and see Santa and his slay. The train stops and Santa comes on and gives each child a bell.

Christmas card pictures
This last year we sent out our first Christmas cards. I took tons of pictures and all of them had a kid either looking away, squinting, or picking his or her nose. Here are a few of my favorites.
I think next year we will have a professional take our picture. :)
Hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas!!

Just some things we have been up to.....
Pinetop in July
While in Pinetop we spent a day at Greenspeak (about a 45 min. drive from Pinetop). The kids got to ride quads, hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Lofgreen, make smores, and play with water guns.

Here are a few more pictures of what we did the remaining time in Pinetop.

Here is the family Celebrating the Fourth of July glow stick style. We turned off all the lights, bought a lot of glow sticks, turned up the music, and danced. The kids had so much fun (THANKS Griffiths for the idea).

What a blast....part 2
After Terry Ranch we headed East to Zion National Park. Below is a picture of the family at the entrance of the RV park we stayed at.

In Zion, the only way to get around is by Shuttle or walking. One of the first stops the shuttle takes you is to Court of the Patriarchs
Here are the kids at Weeping Rock. They say the water that is coming from the mountain is 3,000 years old.

Emerald Springs-
It was getting kinda warm, so whenever the kids came across some water, they either dunked their heads in it or jumped in it. When you think of Emerald, you think of a pretty blue/green color. These springs were a gross brown color. Not great to look at, but the hike was fun for the kids.

Stephen and Toria enjoying the shade in front of the Zion Lodge.

Zion is a very pretty Park. One night we got to see 10 deer and tons of frogs. We stayed so late one night (10:00pm) that we almost missed the city bus to get back to our RV. For those you are thinking about going to Zion, take a flashlight (to long of a story why).
After Zion we went to Panguitch lake and stayed the night. Here are the kids eating breakfast. What a great view.

On our way to Bryce National Forest we stopped at Red Rock Canyon (stayed 2 nights here while we toured Bryce National park. Way cheaper).

Bryce National Park-

After Bryce it is all a blur. I know we went back to Zion for a day. Then we went to Hurrican where we were going to stay the night and go to a family reunion the next day in Toquerville, but Stephen and I had it being in the RV, so we drove to Flagstaff and pulled off the highway about 11:00pm and slept behind some big rigs. Then Stephen got up about 6:00am and drove us home.
This trip was A BLAST!!!!!

What a blast.... part 1
My goal is to get get caught up by the end of the year, wish me luck. :)
In June the whole family loaded up in an RV and went on a road trip to Utah. IT WAS A BLAST!!!!!
First we went to Williams, AZ. We parked our RV in front of Stephen's Aunt and Uncle's bed and breakfast. I wish I would have taken pictures of their B&B, she has done a awesome job decorating it. Each room had it's own theme and the court yard was is so cute. So, if you ever need a place to stay in Williams, give Grand Canyon B&B a call.
From Williams, we went to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We hiked about 2 miles down the Cedar Ridge trial. On our way down people would see our group and say "Don't foget, you have to hike back up". The boys did really good and would have kept going, but they all had to go potty so we had to head back up. When the kids get old enough to carry their own things we want to go all the way down and stay the night.
From there, we stayed the night at Jacobs Lake. Or as the man said at the RV site "What lake? You mean the puddle?". We got to the RV site to late so we had to stay in the forest. BUMMER :). We had no one by us and our kids got to walk around and explore. It was a very pretty area. When we got to the "lake", we understood what the man ment.
After Jacobs lake, we made a pit stop in Colorado City to see some sights and buy some cheese.
Then we went to the St. George Temple.
From there, we drove to Terry Ranch, which is on the border of Las Vegas and Utah. If I liked to type I would tell you the family history of the Ranch, but I don't, so sorry. :) The Ranch was a little warm so we only stayed there one night.
