24 Oct 2022 - Food before flight back to Sg

Breakfast before heading to the airport.

Tried this cream cheese kimbap before boarding my flight.

Dun really like it...

In flight meal by Asiana.

The chicken was pretty tasty.

The potato wedges were soggy of course ㅠㅠ

I am always grateful for the safe and smooth trip ^^

I will be back of course.

My apologies for taking such a long time from to upload my blog.

I still have 5 trips to upload for 2023 and 2024 but I got to start preparing for my winter trip 2024.

Before my Winter trip 2023, I started learning knitting and crocheting from Youtube.

I managed to knit beanies, scarfs and vests ^^

Not perfect but I gave myself a pat on the shoulder because it was quite tough to learn from Youtube.

I got to rewind many times to catch the steps.

I planned to try knitting again for my upcoming Winter trip 2024 ^^

 

23 Oct 2022 - Coffee at 물결 한강 Mulgyul Hangang

From 하늘공원 Haneul Park, I walked over to 물결 한강, which is a cafe by the Hanriver.

At last, I saw the Hanriver lol

It took me less than 60 mins by foot to reach here.

Increasing my sugar level was much needed lol

Time to head home.

Too tired to travel to anywhere to have my dinner.

All I wanted were this cup ramyeon with 삼각김밥 (Samgak kimbap).

I really like this Omori kimchi jjigae cup ramyeon.

They have packet version but I preferred the cup version taste.

In my Spring trip 2024, I saw a more spicy version and it tasted super good!! 

 

23 Oct 2022 - Autumn at 하늘공원 Haneul Park

The smell of grilled squid was so tempting!

Its Autumn, so I came to 하늘공원 Haneul Park to check out the silver grass.

I like Haneul Park cos it was one of the places that I came when I first travel to Korea.

Long queue for the shuttle up to the park.

Usually, I walked up.

Fare for the shuttle.

Oohh I was not expecting to see this ^^

22 Oct 2022 - A beautiful hanok tea house at 새소리물소리차

I think I took a bus from Coex area and got off at this bus stop, 오야동.신촌동행정복지센터.

Less than 1 hr bus ride.

Walking from the bus stop to a beautiful hanok tea place, 새소리물소리

As I made my way to the tea house, I wondered if I was on the right track.

It was really isolated and I did not see anybody on my way there lol

Choose right or left lol

The tea house is on the right.

About 10mins walk from the bus stop to reach the tea house.

SOOO HAPPY  ~ ~ ~

I was really looking forward to come here ^^

Dining by the window is always my first choice.

Was it jujube tea?

It tasted really nice ^^

This 단팥죽 sweet red bean porridge was really delicious!

I love tteok!!

22 Oct 2022 - 꽈배기 Kwabaegi is a must have!!

Managed to get this as my breakfast before my bus come.

This brand sells really delicious fried donut!

Anyway, 꽈배기 Kwabaegi is a MUST for me in every trip back !!

I got the red bean paste fried donut.

I love the hot dog and twisted donut from this brand too ^^
