Savage Orc Boar Boyz with Savage Orc Shaman

Savage Orc Boar Boyz
Really love those minis. I particularly love all old Orcs & Goblins models from 4th and 5th edition of Warhammer. I like the size of this unit. It's huge! Of course in normal games you would probably use smaller multiple units. Anyway great models to paint. I still have my models to paint so expect more, but not so soon.

Night Goblin Gobba Squig

Night Goblin Gobba Squig
This was my inspiration for that Hellcannon of Nurgle. I really like this mini. Although I think making bigger and then yet even bigger squigs is not cool. I liked when Gobbla (Skarsnik's Squig) was the biggest squig ever. But then they have released those Mangler Squigs and now the Forge World makes this one. What is gonna be next? A Squiggoth? I can agree for Great Cave Squigs but that's all. They should't have made this. But somehow I like this sculpt. All squigs and goblins are very funny. And you can use it in normal games as your Doom Diver Catapult proxy.

Night Goblin Big Boss on Great Cave Squig
I think this is the best mini from whole set. Great looking model. I love it. Really well detailed. Cool idea with those flames on armor. The best Squig tunning ever.

Night Goblin Battle Standard Bearer

Night Goblin Battle Standard Bearer
Anoher mini from Warhammer Forge Night Goblin Command set. Nice mini as for BSB. I love those mad moons. I really like that sculptor were inspired with old edition goblin standards. At least that what I feel looking on this mini.

Night Goblin Shaman

Night Goblin Shaman
From Warhammer Forge we get really nice minis to use as Heroes for our armies. They really stand out. I really like that Shaman. The miscast effect is bright green as greenskins magic is suppose to be green. I really like this mini. I'm gonna get one for myself someday.

Astral Tiger Librarian

Astral Tiger Librarian
Yet another Astral Tiger. This time it's Librarian with Librarian's blue armor. To make him looking more like Astral Tigers Chapter member I've painted his shoulderpad, gem on staff, eyes and rune glow on base with orange.

Space Wolves Thunderwolf Lord

Space Wolves Thunderwolf Lord
I haven't posted any Space Wolves for a long time. So here's one. Take a look at him. I love everything about this mini. The golden parts, the blue skin, and the color of the wolf.

White Dwarf January 2014 Review

White Dwarf January 2014
And my first White Dwarf Review. Since this is my first one I would like to hear some comments on how you like that and if you would like any changes to it. Well the funny thing is that this number is the last monthly White Dwarf. Next ones are going to be released weekly. Those would be about 30 pages. There also would be Warhammer Visions monthly magazine which would be about 230 pages with lots of color photos of mini. I'll cover both the new WDs and Warhammer Visions magazine. So let's go to this one.

Astral Tiger Biker Sergeant

Astral Tiger Biker Sergeant
Another Astral Tiger. This one is Sergeant on a Bike. I wanted him to stand out as a sergeant so I've decided to go some crazy conversion. Put this guy on one wheel with cloud behind him. Driving with one hand and aiming with another. How cool is that, huh?

Astral Tiger Devastator Space Marine

Astral Tiger Lascannon
Another mini for Astral Tigers.

Citadel Trees

Citadel Wood Trees
I love autumn. Thats why I've put those closeups. Here's a recipe how to get those autumn leaves. All leaves were painted with GW Calthan Brown. Then random individual leaves were painted with GW Merchite Red, GW Macharius Solar Orange, and GW Iyanden Darksun. than I've painted them with GW Reikland Fleshshade. Simple, but the effect is really cool.

Another generic terrain for my Vendor. His table is going to be desert. So I've painted the base in matching bright yellow. I've added some GW Scorched Grass to make it more interesting. Without that grass the base was looking really boring. Tress painted in autumn colors my Vendor asked for. I like how those trees came out so again I'll make similar forest for myself, or even two.

Arcane Ruins

Arcane Ruins
Arcane Ruins painted for the store nearby. My vendor has decided to go with new table and needed some terrain. So here's first one. It's quite generic and I like it. So I'm going to paint another set of ruins for myself. Also I really love the colors. I've painted this one in grays I mixed from black and white paint. The final highlight was done with GW Astronomican Gray. It's colder tone so it makes details really pop out. But still it's quite dull to not be distracting when models are on table. I like that.

Ork Battlewagon

Bad Moon Ork Battlewagon
And here's an Ork Battlewagon. Painted to match that Deathcoptas and Ork Boyz I've painted some time ago. So lot's of rust and blood. I really like that scheme.

Chaos Giant of Nurgle
Finished Nurgle Giant! I love it. I'm so proud of it! I think this is my best mini so far. I'll upload one more set of pictures of this giant late tonight with all the story behind. I'll also put in box review for this mini. So stay tuned.

Nurgle Hellcannon
And here's finished Chaos Hellcannon. I've added that chain. I think it came out really nice. Just look at this sweet little daemon chained to the cart. Isn't it cute?

Nurgle Hellcannon Crew

Painted Chaos Dwarf Crew for that Nurgle Hellcannon.

Nurgle Sorcerer

Nurgle Sorcerer
I've painted some of those Nurgle Sorcerers in the past. But I wasn't very pleased with the results. The thing is that this mini is very boring on it's back. Like there's nothing interesting there, just a cape. Cape with some runes cut on it. Well I wouldn't be complaining if the cape would be plain. Then I could paint some freehand. But with those cuts it's hard to make anything special. So I've figured out that this Sorcerer could have that boulder on his back to cover the cape. And because he has lots of those tentacles everywhere he could hold the stone with some of those. So this makes him a bit like Obeliks (from Asterix series) who was carrying around his favorite stone.

Pszemek has sculpted Chaos Dwarf crew for that Hellcannon of Nurgle we are making.

Nurgle Hellcannon WIP
The story continues. This is more of what that Nurgle Hellcannon would look like in the end. I've made the wheeled cart that would bring the daemon to the battle. I gave it a little bit Nurgle look by making Nurgle symbol in big wheels. Of course the daemon would be chained to the cart. Pszemek has sculpted daemon's face and all those Nurgle stuff and texture of the skin. Also he did that green spit which is removable for easier transport. Because of lack of time and Nurglings, we have left it like this. But the first concept was to make it looks like Nurglings are being spitted out. But since this part is removable we will someday make the version we planned at first.

Nurgle Hellcannon WIP
Before you start hating, please remember this is no joke. We are starting to build the hellcannon of Nurgle. Well, hellcannon cannot have marks, but when you have whole army of Nurgle you want your unmarked models to fit that theme too. So lets say that the daemon possessing this cannon would be fat and rotting. At this stage we have no idea how to finish that cannon. All I knew at this point was that I want it to look like FW Gobba. You know that big squig spitting out smaller ones, but this one needs to have some machine parts. I've sculpted, well this word is too big for what you actually can see. I've shaped a big blob. And the rest of story would be in another post. Please come back later.

Nurgle Warriors of Chaos

Nurgle Warriors of Chaos
Some close pictures of Warrior of Chaos I did recently. I was asked to make a champion. So I took my favorite head from Chaos Chosens and made a custom Choppa. This makes great weapon for a Nurgle champion. He has a shield form Chaos Knights. I like how horns on the shield fit those on his helmet.

Scibor's Stone Giant as Nurgle Giant WIP

Nurgle Giant WIP
This is shot from work in progress stage. This is first project for Mattardation. And what is Mattarded here? Well it's all about this stupid idea of Elven Skycutter. Who could ever thought of magic flying boat pulled by eagle with bolt thrower on deck? Well it sure had to be the Matt Ward (Mattard) himself. So we took his idea and threw it to the ground! And this is how this project was made :). I'll post painted version soon. Oh, also this year I'll be posting WIP projects and general studio updates.

Nurgle Half Ogre

Image 0 Comments
Nurgle Half Ogre
This mini is sick! The idea of this mini is to create low ogre model so Forge World Nurgle Ogres can rank up. This was fun project. Pszemek has sculpted most of this mini. The head and arms are taken from some Ogre bits and the hands are from Vampire Counts Crypt Horrors. I love how the guts turned out. For this mini I have used new effects from Games Workshop Citadel Paints. Blood was made using Blood for the Blood God and the vomit on Ogre's face was painted with Nurgle's Rot. I've also added some Nurgle's Rot to wounds on his back. Those 2 paints are really amazing for Nurgle minis.

Happy New Year!

New Year 2014
Yeah, The New Year is great time for making some changes. Don't worry, I'll be still focused on painting minis. But I'd like to upgrade my blog's content. I'd like start making tutorials, reviews and battle reports. I'll also make more effort to keep updates daily. There would be some funny sections too. Anyway I've made this list to keep myself focused on those aims while still working on your models.
