The Nutcracker

Image
We took the girls (Kenadee, Brylee, Olivia, Aunt Megan, and myself) to the Nutcracker performed by Ballet Estudes at the Mesa Art Center. After the show the girls got to go on stage and learn how they make fog and snow, which is glitter and potato flakes.  The dancers got to introduce themselves and most of them were very young.  We got to get pictures with the dancer, and the girls got to go in the sleigh and sit on the candy throne.  We all had a spectacular time!

Prescott's Christmas Light Parade

Image
We love living in Prescott and one of the perks is that it is the Christmas town of Arizona.  They have so many things going on here in Prescott to celebrate Christmas and one of them is the Christmas Light Parade.  It was a cold night, so we bundled up the kids, made some hot chocolate, had a picnic dinner, and enjoyed the parade.

Kenadee's Math Competition

Kenadee was picked out of her 6th grade class to compete with 11 other classmates in a Math competition that was held in Gilbert for kids all over the state.  They competed in small groups and individually.  Kenadee placed 21st out of 250 students.  Her Basis school was quite impressive. There were 7 that placed in the top 10.  Way to go Kenadee and Basis Prescott! Super proud of you!

Thanksgiving 2015

We had Thanksgiving at Maria's and Nick's house in Gilbert. They have a nice big grassy area in front of their house that we decided to have it outside. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner with a game of Minute to Win it for the adults and one for the kids. There were a lot of cheering for the team and lots of laughs! It's great getting together with family, remembering how blessed all our lives are, and enjoying being with one another!
