I promise I've been trying to update this blog. For some reason I cannot get pictures to load. It's driving me CRAZY! I'm sure it's user error but I've never had problems before. This one uploaded through web albums. I'm still not sure how I did it.
We've been crazy busy lately. The above picture is at Regionals in Las Vegas with McKenna. That talented girl surprised us all and made it farther than we all thought she would go. I love her spunk and determination. She started out the year by having to compete Level 7 because she didn't have her Level 8 skills perfected. Well she was really mad about that and decided that she was going to work her butt off to not only compete Level 8 but make it to the end. Remember last season she had a broken foot. She doesn't let anything hold her back and I love it!
I was talking to someone about our schedule and I figured that we probably haven't had a Saturday at home since probably December? Between gym meets, baseball tournaments/games and life we are never home on the weekends. It kind of wears us out but we love it. Our kids are happy and so are we. I never thought I would LOVE watching 4+ hours of baseball in one day but I do.
Last weekend we had to split up and I (and my girls) represented our family at two different weddings. My cousin Linny was married in the Provo Temple. It was not only fun to see her family but so special to see her brother (who is in the MTC) come and see his sister get married. Lots of happy tears there!
Then we went to lunch, did a little shopping (TARGET) and went to the reception. I had to speed from West Jordan over to my cousin Tonya's wedding in Millcreek Canyon. We had a great time seeing family and socializing.
Brett stayed here with Ethan for his two baseball games. I was sad to miss them but we have two more tomorrow. Ü Ethan is really thriving in baseball. His coach told me that he is the kid on the team that "knows the game" the most. He's constantly talking with Brett, asking him questions and Brett is so patient and teaches him all sorts of scenarios. Many people have said "what Eth lacks in height he makes up for in heart". He gets so intense, especially when playing basketball. He isn't afraid to get in there and show his stuff. In baseball he usually plays 2nd base. Sometimes he pitches which gives me a heart attack. So much pressure! His coach pulled him a couple other boys aside and asked them to be team leaders. To get the other boys talking, to help them know what to do, and just be a leader. Made me pretty proud.
Maecee is doing gymnastics but doesn't seem to have the drive that McKenna does. She's really good but would rather play with her friends than be at gym. We'll see, she's only 5! She's really liking Kindergarten. She loves to play with her friends, play with her American girl doll named McKenna, and follow me around. She's my little buddy. I have NO CLUE what I'm going to do when she's in school all day. She is the family prankster. I can't believe the funny things she comes up with. We're constantly laughing at her little antics.
Brett is so stinking busy right now I never even see him. His work is booming. I've typed more estimates the last few weeks than I can count. Poor guy works his guts out. He also got called to be the new Young Men's President. He is nervous about the calling but I think he's perfect for it. He loves those boys so much. He is also coaching a city league baseball team that Ethan is on (yea we mean business around here). So between work, young mens and baseball his head is spinning.
I'm just here to be the coordinator and cheerleader. I do the dirty work. Actually scratch that....Brett does all the dirty work. I'm so blessed to have my amazing famly! I love them so much. They keep me going and are so patient with me. I love them to the moon, and the stars and then back again and again and again.
I'll see what I can do about getting pictures on here. I have sooooo many I want to share.

Sweets
Salli took these great pictures. Aren't my kids the cutest! I know you think your kids are the cutest, but really? I mean look at McKenna. How beatiful is she? And Ethan hubba hubba you little stud man! And then my baby Maecee. Her smile, her eyes they just kill me. So cute!
To my cuties....I'm sorry mom made you wear levi's Kenna and those high heeled boots, but really Salli made you wear makeup. Eth sorry you had to wear that sweater dude...it matches your beatimus eyes. Maec I know you think you are a fashionista but for pictures....mom ALWAYS wins. You should have seen the tears shed from her about which clothes she would wear. DRAMA! (Or McEvoy girl whichever you prefer----hehehe.)
Ok all joking aside.....My babies are growing up by the minute. I can't handle it some days. I still want to treat them like little babies and squeeze them, and love them and hug them. :)
Kenna I love your guts! Even when you trip over those high heeled boots. I love you even when you are in your normal, everyday attire, aka sweats, workout clothes, etc. Your beautiful inside and out! One of the most talented people I know. Love you!
Sigh.....where did the time go?
Oh Eth! You are the most amazing boy. Even if you ruined your jeans you were supposed to wear by sliding down the hill...on your knees! You have the biggest heart! I love you so much! Your so talented. The best brother ever! Never underestimate my E.B.!
Cute boy!
Oh Mae, Mae. Am I going to survive your girliness...it's just not me. You'll have to teach me as we go along. I LOVE being your mommy. You have the "funnest" personality! Your bright smile is contagious.
Little sassy pants.
Here they are again. Can we pause time. I just love the ages they are at. Sweet and innocent. They still like me too!
The reason I wanted to write this post was because I have the sweetest memory in my head of Ethan taking care of Maecee at school. I didn't want to forget it. Then I realized I have story, after story of each one of my cuties. I am realizing how fast time is flying and I need to be better at writing it all down but most of all enjoying every second with my family. That's what matters most in life. Thank you to my amazing husband who supports us and gave my kids their best qualities. How I was lucky enough to snag that cute guy, I'll never know. I count my lucky stars everyday (well almost).

May California Trip Continued.....
We stayed at this AMAZING Marriot in Newport Beach. I have never stayed at a hotel (actually it was more like a suite) this nice. Unbelievable. This picture doesn't even do it justice. I just had my small camera with me when I took this shot. I wish I would have gotten a picture looking out over the pool into the ocean, but I didn't. Even though we were there for 5 days the time flew by! I felt like we could have stayed for at least another week. There are so many activities at the Hotel that you can do. You wouldn't even have to leave the place and you could still have a great time. Thanks to Dad and Lisa for these awesome rooms.
They have a timeshare and so they can stay here. Brett and I and Jas and HIllary had to go to "presentation" to try to get us to buy a timeshare also. Us couples were trying to see who could get back to the our Hotel room first. Brett and I won! That poor lady had no grounds to stand on to sell to us. Then Jason got a salesperson who is anti hunting.....yea, not a good fit. There's also ended quite abruptly when Jas told her when he goes on vacation he just takes his tent and goes. Funny stuff.

Dur! I look like a dork, and I'm holding a binkie...no big deal. We were exploring the area.
A little putting area-by this was a basketball court a playground area, and a firepit.
We played volleyball and cooked dinner on the grill in this area.
Isn't Tawnee beautiful! I love this picture! She is Maecee's favorite friend.

Legoland, California 2011
Legoland, California
May 2011
So instead of buying all of us Christmas presents, my Dad and Lisa decided to take us all on a trip. When he asked me where I wanted to go, my first thought was, A Disney Cruise. Well we started to research the cost of that and it was way too expensive. So we decided to go to California and do Legoland, The Beachs, Knott's Berry Farm and Seaworld. If we ever do go back, I think we will only do the Beach. My family was wanting to pack up and move there! Here are some of the highlights.....
So funny story about the shirts. We were making up crazy things to do for the trip and we said we should all get matching shirts....but that they should be Hunter Orange. Well my Dad and Lisa were just sitting on the couch listening and whispering (so I knew something was up). Turns out that they had already gone and gotten shirts for all the small kids to give to them for Easter. Well we were all just joking about it and making fun of matching shirts and found out that they had really gotten them for the kids. So they went and ordered shirts for the adults so we could all be matchers.
It sure was easy to pick each other out in a crowd. I would forget we had them on and then someone would walk by laughing, or shaking their head, or just right up staring at us. I kept thinking "why is everybody staring at me", and then I remembered. We love being dorks together! It makes for good times.
We also all drove to California. That would be a total of 5 cars, 9 adults, 14 kids, 5 walkie talkies a lot of bathroom/food/gas breaks and tons of funny stories. It was hilarious!

Pictures for Heidi
My mom wanted to surprise my sister with new pictures of her kids for Mother's Day. So since I've got a good camera (that I don't know how to work very good, but I try) and I have Photoshop (that I don't know very well but I try), I told her I would take them so she didn't have to spend any $ on them.
