Recently the 5th grade performed a play about the history of the United States. It was so well done, I even got the chills as they sang some of the songs! Sydney was chosen as a sewing girl, and had 2 lines to perform with another classmate. I also offered to sew the aprons for the sewing girls and although it meant I was in my sewing room for a few late hours, it was satisfying to see them all up stage!

Happy New Year!
Happy new year! I always love bringing the new year in with a bit of a party! We did so at Grammy and Papa's house with a night swim (I think only the kids got in!) and a few sparklers. We also had fun popping balloons filled with small treats and a few money coins. We intentionally played it off that 9:00 was in fact midnight…the younger kids wouldn't have known any different!
We always try our best to make some cool shapes and this is the best we got, haha! I better study up on that for next year :)

Cleveland Point!
We love the lighthouse! Traditional fish and chips dinner down at the point (Cleveland Point) is always something we look forward to. I love spending time with these people!
Spinny seats are our favorite!!
