The New Puppy, The New House, and the Conked Noodle

This is what I got instead of another grandchild. I think he's really sweet, but I still feel like I got rooked. Bummer.......But they couldn't be happier. Tom and Sarah have promised them a puppy for about 5 years (No Vanessa says ever since she could talk, hahaha).

Butters, short for butterball. He's a cute fluffy thing, but his bright blue eyes don't show.

Hailey is in seventh heaven.

He's a cockapoo. Very sweet, and lots of work. They have some fun times ahead training him.

Sarah and Tom's new house. They just love it. Very pretty, and finished with blinds already in and landscaping, yea!

Family room - good sized and a beautiful fireplace.

Looking up the stairs from their frontroom. I didn't post the picture of the front room because it's empty - no furniture yet. hahahaha

The kids love having a neighborhood full of kids to play with. Check out Tom's Wasatch Beer Sign in the garage.

Dining area (can you see the beautiful rails. Tom painted the rails black and stained the wood to match their dining room set, and also because all of their furniture is black, it makes everything tie in together really well. He's really a talented painter. (Hint, Hint - I need my front room painted Tom). haha

Cameron fell down in the playground and hit his head on a cement railing. He wanted everyone to see his "conked noodle". Poor thing, he's a real boy, so he's always getting banged up.

Well, I finally got my camera back, but I loaned it to Sarah to take some pictures of the puppy and her new house. They are quite dark, I've got to look at the settings on the camera to see what's wrong. Anyway, her house is beautiful, and they are thrilled to be in it. The girls love having a backyard and a "real" neighborhood.

Butters is really cute. He's a lot smaller than he looks in the pictures, but they are having a blast with him. I told them they need to train him to stay on the Pergo like Delores and Doug did with Mickey, at least he did it when they were there. I personally think when they weren't home, Andrea always let him do whatever he wanted, hahahaha. I know she'll be jealous about the puppy. She's wanted one every since she had to leave Mickey.

Poor Camie fell down and his head was a mess. He wanted me to see it immediately and I couldn't get over there, so they emailed me the pictures and I gave him sympathy over the phone. See, Delores, sometimes, the phone is the only way, even for those of us who are close enough. Anyway, it's much better now.

Everything else is doing well. I hope to get my new shots by next week and hopefully, they will make me feel better. I'm 35 pounds lighter, but this is NOT a good way to lose it. Have a good week. Love you all. Helen xoxoxoxoxoxox

I don't suck my thumb, but I love to chew on it everytime my binky falls out.

This thing is weird, but I can't put it down.

These little spikey balls are hilarious, really soft and a weird texture. He really made the most hilarious face and did a full body shudder the first time we touched it to his skin, and of course, we laughed so hard, we couldn't help doing it some more.
