Although it didn't feel like it,
we actually did do things that didn't involve
house shopping, packing, etc.
For Shannon's birthday, we rented a couple
lanes and spent a Saturday afternoon bowling.
Lots of fun.
And Shannon only stepped onto the land and fell once,
so it was considered a successful party.
During one of my many YW meetings,
The kids combined their creative thinking
with Brett's new obsession with Nitro Circus
and built cardboard sleds to ride down the stairs.
Macy got her kindergarten shots.
It was quite the traumatic experience for her,
so we figured it warranted a trip to Orange Leaf afterwards.
And, the best news of all...
Coleman is officially potty trained!
He totally took to it like a pro...
no news as to if reading Sports Illustrated
was the key to success or not,
but we'll take it.
