What We Did {May}

You can tell summer is almost here...
things are really starting to pick up at our house!

Some of the most exciting news...
we have two new nephews/cousins!

Sarah and Tory's little guy Townsend Vance
came 5 weeks early on May 8th.

We love him so much already!

Tahler and Ryan had their baby,
Brace Ryan 8 weeks early on May 14th.
Sweet little guy is still in the NICU,
so we don't have any pictures of him yet,
but we are excited he's here and doing well.

Macy performed in her class opera, "Disney Friends."
Her class spent the entire year coming up with the story,
the characters, the songs, the scenery and the costumes.

It was darling!

I said goodbye to my sweet little preschool class.
I am sure going to miss all of those cute faces!

Macy also had her last day of kindergarten.
We couldn't have asked for a better 1st year of school for Macy.
Mrs. Perry is an amazing teacher.
We are really going to miss her!

Coleman got a new hat,
which he insists on wearing backwards
because that is how "real boys" do it.

Image
The weather has been beautiful,
so Macy and Coleman have been taking full advantage of it.
(And counting down the days until the "real" pools open.)

Warmer weather means more 4 wheeler rides
at Grandma Shannon and Grandpa Mike's too.

May ended with our favorite Memorial Day celebration,
listening to the Bountiful Pipe Band at Lakeview cemetery.

The Big Reveal

Oh, Pintrest.

Whatever would I do without you?

Were it not for your plethora of amazing ideas for everything
from teacher appreciation gifts to removing hard water stains from
my shower door (none of which work, FYI),
I would simply be forced to tell everyone the gender of
my third child by just (gasp!) telling them.

Instead, I get to look creative by posting this little
number on various social media sites.

Image
Pintrest and I,
(as well as Brett, Macy and Coleman)
are super excited to announce that Baby C #3 is a girl.

Now if you'll excuse me,
I have some various nursery ideas, headwrap patterns,
and get your "post baby body back" workouts to pin.

Chalk Art on Main

In the almost 8 years we lived in the Bountiful area,
we somehow managed to never make it down to see
the amazing art on Main street during their annual chalk art festival.

Apparently, all we needed to do was move away,
because we made it this year.

It was incredible!

Those colors!

Image
Brett is deathly afraid of jellyfish,
so Macy specifically asked that I take this picture of her for him.

Image
We are big fans of Mo Willems' pigeon books,
so this was a family fave.

Image
As was this Frozen one,

Image
and Hello Kitty (of course.)

So glad we got the chance to take all this amazing art in.
We'll be back next year for sure!
