Merry Christmas everyone!

As some of you may have seen on Instagram we are spending the holidays in the warmth of the Australian sun this year, with Mart's family. This is my first ever Christmas outside of Switzerland and I have to admit the temperatures and the weather are quite different to what I am used to for this time of year. :-) 
But I'm in no way complaining: I love the Western Australian beaches, sunsets, and way of life, and even if I miss my Swiss family a little I'm having the most wonderful time!

Guess what? It's advent time again!
Just like previous years I will be counting the days until Christmas with an advent calendar of my own. 
When we were little, my mum always made my brothers and I amazing advent calendars and we loved them so dearly... Even though I've grown up I simply cannot imagine a month of December without an exciting little surprise every morning. So if you want to follow along, make sure to check this space daily for the next 24 days!

I finally have my iphone back (it spent a few weeks under repair but it's now as good as new) and I'm happy to start changing wallpapers weekly again! :-)

More of Paris

 
On our second day in Paris, after a scrummy breakfast and a good look at the city from the top of Montmartre we jumped on the metro and went to take a peek at La Defense. It's definitely an impressive place! 

We then set off to go and see a fashion exhibition but ran into this amazing museum on the way and decided it was too good to pass. We went in there instead and spent a few hours marveling at their collections... it was amazing!
  

A weekend in Paris

 
A few weeks ago I met my mum in Paris for the weekend. The main goal of our little trip was to go and see the Ron Mueck exhibition (which was amazing!) but we also did a bit of shopping and of sight seeing; it was lovely! Also, we stayed in this little studio just steps away from Sacré Coeur which was great.
