May 2013 ~ The Rays are moving (literally)

As a few of you may know, we are embarking on an epic adventure this summer. We put our house on the market Thursday, April 25th and had two offers the same day. We signed papers and have a closing date of May 29th. Things happened much more quickly than we expected. We are hoping to find a new house very soon, but until we do we will be staying in a little townhouse in the Bothell/Kenmore area. Apparently, it's a seller's market and it is nearly impossible to find a rental anywhere. We're trying to make the most of the craziness and picked a place with a swimming pool so we'll have something to do with the girls for the summer. It's also near Kenmore lanes (free bowling at www.kidsbowlfree.com) so we'll be perfecting our bowling technique also.

On a practical note, if anyone has moving boxes or packing supplies that they don't need please be in touch. We've got a whole house and garage to box up in the next 20 days! And if anyone actually likes packing and moving (I'm sure everyone does!), we're doing the big portion of the move the 18-19th and 25-27th and can use all the help we can get. Pizza and beer provided :)

Summer Camping with friends

We were able to go camping a few times this summer. Once with just our family, once with Ryan and Kim, and once with all our friends. We're already looking forward to next summer.

7.24.12 ~ 3 year stats

The girls had their three year well child visit today and are doing amazing. Normal in all areas and still growing!

Avery was 29 pounds (30%ile) and 36.75 inches (40%ile)
Brelynn was 32.25 pounds (65%ile) and 37.25 inches (52%ile)
Camille was 27 pounds (12%ile) and 37.5 inches (59%ile)

Now, I'm not convinced that Camille is taller than Brelynn. I think Brelynn is the tallest, then Camille, then Avery. I think the weights were pretty close. Hard to believe how far they've come in the last three years. You'd never know by looking at them that they were all under four pounds at birth!

7.20.12 ~ Kayaking

Keeping with tradition, we had a family float while in Sunriver. We took over the river with our giant convoy of boats. The girls love kayaking and want to do it for '300 days'. That's a lot!
