Happy Father's Day and Happy Anniversary...31 years....

Image
Today is not only Father's Day but also my 31st wedding anniversary. We woke up to rain and a not very nice day as far as weather goes. I started the morning out with homemade cinnamon rolls and orange juice in bed. We only had Nikki and her family over for a BBQ as Holli and Dave were still in DC and Kailie went with Alex's family. They did come over for dessert though.  It was a great day though even if the whole family wasn't able to be toegether.Paul gave me a beautiful diamond necklace for our anniversary and 24 long stem red roses...they were beautiful. I gave him some clothes and a night stay in Park City which we are going to take next weekend. It was a great day except for the fact that it rained all day. Here's to many more happy years together...Love you honey.

Come fly with me....

I've always wanted to have my picture taken while sitting in an engine. But now days we are not allowed on the tarmat of any airport...except Las Vegas. They pick us up and drop us off right by our airplane. So this week I asked the Captain if it was okay if I had my picture taken. He not only said yes but he took if for me.

Happy Birthday Debbie and Cindy

It's been awhile since we have done a birthday lunch so it was fun to do a double. Both Deb and Cindy celebrate birthdays in June so we combined the two and went out to lunch at Costa Vida. It was good as usual and the company was great. Happy Birthday you two..

Happy Birthday Dave

This year we celebrated Dave's birthday a little early as Holli and Dave were going to be in Washington DC for Dave's birthday. They had us all out to their house were we did a BBQ and then had cake that Holli had made. When Dave was little all he ever wanted for his birthday was a set of legos which I guess he never got. So Holli decided to make him a Lego's cake instead. Anyway the evening was fun and all the kids were there. Here's to another great year Dave...Happy 28....

Breast Cancer Fire truck

We were able to see the breast cancer pink firetruck that is currently traveling all over the US letting survivors sign the truck. The money that is raised by doing things like a pancake breakfast goes to each individual city for their breast cancer. I took Nikki and the kids and although we missed the breakfast it was still fun for the kids to see the truck. Paul even took us all out to breakfast after we saw the truck. While taking pictures some random guy that was driving by stopped and had to dalmations in his car and offered one of them to be in the picture with us. Kinda weired but funny. Anyway it was a great little trip to the fire station and lot's of fun for Porter.

Memorial Day Weekend...

This year we did our annual weekend trip up to Heber for a wet fun weekend. It rained most of the time and was cold, but we still had fun playing games and eating lot's of great food. Holli and Dave came up and tented it, except the second night it rained so hard we all slept in the trailer.. that was fun, we were wall to wall people.. Also Alex and Kailie came up too and we really got to know Alex a little better. Maybe one of these years we can actually have some good weather for a change..
