SANDTOFT – Sandtoft Roadgardens – A HOOPOE this morning was photographed and has been around for about a week as it was also photographed (See today’s Isle of Axholme Facebook Group). Only a mile or so from the first record for the Moors found by Andy Marshall and Daz Minto 10th May 1980. Possibly the same bird that was in gardens around Rossington last winter?

If visiting the area please note that parking is difficult around the village and please respect resident’s privacy.
