This is the first day of the rest of your life.

Can count on me

I really just needed some music for this post to dedicate to my kids who have been so loving and just wonderful. And I like this song, so, click, play and look at cute pictures of my kids.

Truth is, these two love each other. If either ever hurt themselves in anyway, their sibling is the first to come to the rescue. I absolutely love listening to them communicate with each other. Now Jonna can't quite talk yet, but she tries.

Some of my favorite phrases for her right now are "LaLaLaLa Love you" and "beeeee ewwww tiful". She asks questions constantly, when I give her an answer, she matter of factly says "oh!" She is notorious for the "uh-oh's" especially when she is so independant now and wants to do everything herself. She wants to put her shoes on, pour her own milk, and often attempt to wipe herself in a diaper change. She loves to sit on the potty, but has yet to produce anything. We will be going for it on her second birthday. I think she is going to be an early potty trainer. I just have a feeling and so does Alison. She is a people pleaser, and at daycare, Alison says she is her little helper. Plus she is a mother's hen to the babies below her. She also has become very fond of showing lovins, by playing with hair, rubbing your arm, or just a head nod hug.
As much as we bike ride, I think she is gonna be an early one without training wheels too, but for now her favorite spot is here.

Ben tears up the bikerding, and you should see his little legs pedal. Fast as can be. He needs a bigger bike, but we are holding that off for his birthday. Now, what my little dare devil son REALLY wants is a Dirt Bike! BAD! So, does Jake for that matter. But by golly, I can't submit. He will only be four. Can't we wait just one more year! PLEASE. I am so torn. He does want one bad, but with his track record I can't swallow it. Maybe if we can just go one year without an ER visit, I will feel more comfortable.
Ben is my adventurer. He loves worms. Helping Dad in any project or Mom for that matter. He likes to be sweet and likes to tell me he is "onry" and "handsome". He likes to point out how tall he is getting, and that one day he will be as tall as Dad. What he doesn't realize, is he is going to be taller than Mom before i know it. He comes to my chest, and it won't be long before I will be looking up to my son. The school year is almost up and for the summer he is going to go to Alison's daycare with Jonna. We may keep him in Prek for the next two years before kindergarten since he is a late summer birthday. The boy amazes me. His motor skills are amaazing. He can dribble a basketball for a short while, hit a woofle ball that is pitched to him, throw a spiral football, and 50% of the time he can catch a football. He can also still bring Mugsy down in a headlock. Who knows what this boy has in store for us. We hope to sign him up for Soccer in the Fall.

Several attempts at a "serious face" picture. It was too hard, he belt out in laughter each time we tried.

Exciting news on the homefront: The Utah Holee's are gonna be moving to our town in about three weeks! And we are so EXCITED!

Sign your Son is accident prone

Jonna and Ben were playing on a sofa spiderman chair at home one night. Jonna flips off chair and bumps her head. I hold her and soothe her. Ben rubs her head and reassures she will be okay in the softest voice. Then he looks at me serious as a heart attack, and says, "Mom, should we call the office?" I am confused. "What did you say Ben?"...."I think we should call the office, she may be hurt really bad."

Ben always looking out for whats best.
