PTM/DOF

The day after memorial day the Boys were off to PTM. I think it was a little more real this time for BJ, having a mission call in hand.  And Bryson was now joining the ranks of attendees. His companion was Isaac Parker.  Both seemed to really enjoy the experience. 

Apparently they had a hike that ended on a steep hill.  The boys loved it, the girls did not.  I'm just glad BJ and Ryan didn't end up falling off the waterfall or something. Always a win when they are alive. 

I got to go up for DOF too and was taught by Enya and Tara.  Felt more like hanging out with friends than being taught, it was a party.  But I still did learn things from them.  I loved the expereince.  I love that they give these kids this opportunity to go and practice preaching the gospel.  It is so good for them. 

City of Rocks

We left sleeping BJ, and went up to City of Rocks in Idaho for our memorial camping trip.  The problem was that it ended up pouring rain when we got there.  It stopped long enough for us to be able to climb around on many of the rock formations and spent time climbing.  It was really fun, and when it wasn't hailing, snowing, or raining, it was a beautiful day.  I was impressed with how good the kids were at climbing.  I was not impressed that as we pulled up to the last hike I bonked.  I had no gas in the tank.  But, the boys went up and had fun.  

We had dinner and then decided to head home to get out of the rain.  It ended up a perfect day (even though it was supposed to be a weekend).
