Rachel

As most of you know Rachel is planning to go on a mission in August, comin'up fast. I think she's pretty excited but she's plenty nervous! But I'm kinda nervous for her too because my dad thinks she'll go to South America. My mom is pretty nervous about it too we were talking about it this morning she started bawling. Anyways she's almost got all of her papers ready and she can have her interview with the bishop and stake president tomorrow, I think and so she could have all of her papers in and everything. Which means if everything goes smothly she can get her call while I'm at EFY.
I'm so excited for EFY it will be a blast it is going to be Me, Ben, Josh, T.R. (ben's friends) and some of my cousins. :D I can hardly wait we're going to go the 10-14 of August! I just hope I don't have an experience like Sarah, stupid boys, that e-mail you their whole life story. IDK Anyways it will be fun with everyone that's going. :D

Paper Route

I cannot tell you how much I hate the paper route. Of course we got rid of it about two years ago, this lady was desperate..... she said. She said there was no one else she could find becuase everyone was busy, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (FYI those are the worst days to do the paper route, because you have to stuff the papers everyday and those are all the days they have more than one insert, Sunday usually has three.) We did the whole west side of Manti. We had to get up at five and I don't know how Rachel does it but she's always so happy in the morning and I hate it when she wakes me up because she's always like Hananananananananananananah with a huge grin on her face maybe she's so happy because she gets to get me back for all the times when she was the baby sitter and we'd sass her a little bit and it made her mad so maybe that's just her way of getting back IDK. Anyways at least it is over now and we don't have to worry about it again I was so excited to sleep in instead of getting up at five or six and I was so excited for my sleep......... BUT that will never happen nope my mother and father had this brilliant idea that we should clean up the yard before the city gets mad at us again, so we got up at 6:30 today because my dad wanted to help us get it done before he had to go to work up North, but I really like sleep too. :)
He's an awesome dad! I am very thankful for my dad and his willingness to help and his job he works so hard to support his family. :) I guess I'm just spoiled rotten! :)

Culture Shock!

Hannah will die of shock if she comes home to see that someone else has written on her blog. I love looking at it but I don't seem to take the time to do much else with it. Then I sit down to write at this thing and my mind goes completely blank!!!!
Boy was it quiet here a week ago. 6 of my children went to youth conference. Rachel was here when she wasn't doing something with her friends or working and then the next oldest was Laura. It kind of felt like culture shock. Then we had Miriam, Mathew, and Rebeckah. Tim was a bit nervous to go because he was worried about something. (side line) The bishop in our ward has challenged us to memorize the 100 scripture mastery. He told us to do a scripture a day. I've done it. I was so proud of myself. Well While Tim made it back and he had worked out his problem to his satisfaction Ben was reading a scripture and he could relate it to Tim's problem. The scripture said something like We do all that we can do then we have to turn it over to the Lord. Tim really tried to do everything he could do. Then He turned it over to the Lord and he was blessed. He was able to handle the problem. I would not have looked at it that way but I was glad my boys could liken the scriptures to themselves.
Next we have girls camp coming up and most of the everyone is going to go but Lisa who is trying to earn more money. At the same time the boys have scout camp another quiet week!. Miriam is also getting baptized as soon as we can keep everyone home for long enough to get it done. We will let you know the date for sure when we figure it out.
Lynn has a few jobs going on. He is down in Cedar city and up in Morgan and Bountiful. He has heard about another job and is wondering whether he should bid it or just see what others come up with. It is so hard to know.
Boy I get started and I can write a story. Hope I didn't bore you all to death

Youth Conference

I just got back from Youth Conference on Saturday it was a lot of fun but it was a lot of driving. We went to Yellow Stone and we saw a whole bunch of cool things... we also saw a lot of lame things, for example the hot spring kinda things were really cool there was this one that was BLUE but it was so clear you could see right down to the bottom, another example a petrified tree?? why is that interesting looks just like a rock. IDK We did see a couple of bears, elk, an eagle, chipmunks, squirrels, a mountain goat, and a TON OF Buffalo. But I have to admit my favorite part was not at Yellow Stone itself, It was on a boat with Amy (one of my leaders), Ben, Mark and One of Mark's friends, Dane. Dane started us out on the boat and the nice way to put it is he wasn't the fastest rowing the boat, SO then Mark and Dane both started doing it, then it got worse, so of course the biggest toughest Man in the boat took over, who was Ben. Man he's fast so Amy and I thought hey we can totally do this if Ben can row this baby so can we. Us and our great minds. :D We grabbed a hold of the ores and started to go, oh baby were we doing good we were out in the middle of the lake when we started then realized we were rowing the boat backwards. (it's harder than it looks) Amy had one ore and I had the other and I was rowing one was and she was doing it another. so we were both confused and Ben, Mark and Dane are all trying to explain to us the proper way to row a boat. So after they were all done trying to tell us the correct way to row a boat Amy and I had figured out how to row it correctly we were just a little confused on how to steer it. I was really exciting we eventually got back to the dock and Amy's ore got stuck under the dock so she was trying to get it out and hand it up the the next boy who wanted to go on the boat. She was trying her best to get it out and she fell backwards in the boat between the two seats. And all of us were trying to help her up, but she was defiatly stuck and laughing. (have you ever tried to get up while laughing? it's quite hard needless to say. :D) So we were all trying to help her up and we got her up and looked behind her and her cellular device was in the puddle of water so she picked it up really fast. But it was all okay it still worked and she said, "Please don't tell my husband!! Do you know how many cell phones I've gone through?" It was halarious! So we all got out of the boat and told everyone the exciting adventure of the day. :D It was well worth going. :D

Hey

I have about a million other things I should be doing but this is a really great way to procrastinate. Pageant is officially over for this year, it's nice but now I'm thinking what now. I do kinda have a job working at Temple View Lodge, and I could do a ton of things here at my house like cleaning and more cleaning, it feels like a never ending job.
The 4th is coming fast it's crazy!! It will be fun my family always goes up the canyon and has a picnic and then comes back down the canyon to watch the fireworks. We all climb onto the van and so we all can see them better. :D lol people probably think we're the craziest family they've ever seen, but that's okay right no one really cares. :D
Everything else is going pretty good Angela is excited to have a little girl she really likes the name Joanne and thankfully Joe doesn't. I personally think Joanne is and OLD lady's name so I don't know why she likes it. Rachel is working on sending her mission papers in she's pretty excited. Well yeah that's about the up date.
