I came home to this on my kitchen table one night. Garrett had frantically carved this out for me while I was at Young Womens. The pumpkin is huge!! Happy Birthday to me : ).

15 Months!!!

Holy cow how time flies!!! My little toddler tornado is running around getting into everything(with the help of her older brother of course), says "mommy" roughly 1 million times a day, talks all day long, makes animal sounds all day long, says "hi" whenever she enters a room....she's not quiet : ). Overall, the best kid ever and I love her to death. Man, I am sooooo grateful for eternal families.

It's Been Awhile....

So, I apologize for my absence...apparently, August didn't exist in the Howell home because it's the middle of September and I just barely noticed : ). Anyway, here's some recap.

We've had some good rain storms.

Taylor started Kindergarten August 29th. She's loving it and so am I : ).

Mason's poop trained...I figured that's the worst part so I'll take it.

Claira's been walking for over a month now.

We went to the Marysville Hot Air Balloon Festival, toured the Santa Maria(a replica of Christopher Columbus' ship), I twisted my ankle running, Garrett was gone for a week looking for a job in Wyoming and he started at a new clinic which marks only 3 more quarters until he's done!!! All in all, things are still trucking right along.

BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!!

Since it's Garrett's last year here at OSU(YAH!!!!) and he has a little more time, we decided to take advantage of it and see as much as we could our last year here.

Yep, that's who you're thinking it is.......JOSH GROBAN!!! We went to his concert!!!

He is the best performer. If you ever get a chance to see him, do it!!

Then, it was off to the Ohio State Fair. Corndogs, cotton candy, pigs, cows, horses, sheep, BBQ, carnival rides, shops galore, face painting, games and food, food, food!!! It doesn't get much better than that : ).

Good old Ohio....had to get one of these ; ).

Well, what can I say? It's been a year already!!! Claira has been crawling for over two months now and she took her first few steps yesterday. She is the sweetest little thing. She gives hugs, loves to babble, eats everything, waves bye-bye and plays with her big brother and sister. Overall, she is an excellent baby and I'm glad she's part of our family. Let's keep our fingers crossed that she stays this awesome : ).

The Start of a New Era!!!

Taylor: "Mom, my tooth is loose."

Me: "Really? Well, leave it alone and it'll come out on it's own."

Taylor: "Mom, my tooth fell out!"

Me: "What? Come here. Yep, sure did."

This all happened in about an hour. She woke-up said it was loose, sat down for breakfast, got about half way done and out it came. I don't really know how normal that is, but it made the morning pretty exciting and made Taylor feel "all sorts of happy." : )

Summer, here we come!!

Another school year flies by and now we're counting down the days until Kindergarten!!!

At this point, she realized that school was over and she wasn't

going to see her teachers on Monday : (

Things are still trucking right along. Garrett starts his externships in a week..NO MORE EXAMS!!! YAH!!!! Other than that, the kids and I are ready for summer : )

Happy 2nd Birthday Mason!!! We love you!!

Whoop-whoop!!!

Just to brag a little....Garrett took the first part of his Boards a little over a month ago, and we just got his test results back and......HE ROCKED THEM!!!! So, 1 down, 2 to go.

This is the first year since we've been in Ohio that Garrett wasn't in the middle of mid-terms, finals, or any other tests, so we enjoyed his day by doing absolutely nothing!! Well, we ate cheesecake : ). Happy 29th Birthday Babe!!! I love you!!

My little Claira is 9 months old!! She is such a sweet little thing always giving hugs and kisses. She desperately wants to crawl, but has a hard time getting her "anchor" off the floor : ). She is rolling however, which is making a clean house more difficult. I love her and she's my best surprise yet!!

I'm not implying anything with that last comment...I'm merely stating a fact : )

Milestones That Mommy Is Not Ready For!!!

I know that this is just a part of growing-up, but seriously....I am not mentally ready for this!! I thought that I had a couple more months to prepare. I'm done for!!!

All in all, she's an awesome kid. I know a lot of moms say that, but seriously, she's great!! She's sitting up, rolling, talking, giving hugs, blowing bubbles, eating like a champ and sleeping like a champ. Not to mention the hair(heehee). Man, I just love this girl!!! : )

Finally....SNOW!

Believe it or not, I actually don't mind the snow....so, naturally when it finally did we were all excited. Snow just makes the winter feeling complete. And not to mention that it makes for endless fun!! I'm pretty sure I could leave Mason outside all day : ).
