A dream called Adelaide

If I can summarise my 9 years living in Adelaide, it will be - like a dream.

A beautiful dream of a mysterious land, unique in all its ways, and filled with magnificent creatures great and small.
Image
A land where I pursued my dream of being a scientist. Even manage to get a "permanent head damage" out of it.
Image
A place where I found God, and met many many brothers and sisters, all so dear to me.
Image

And experienced so many things I will never experience, ever.
Image
Including getting engaged and living with awesome people (and cats).

Now that I have awaken from that dream, though still in a daze at time, I know I can move on confidently, as He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Thank you everyone! Thank you Adelaide.

Delirious!?

Over a series of wonderful things happening in my life the past few days, I was in such delirium and could not stop grinning! It felt like the sun has once again risen after a long, long dark night!!

On Saturday, Ruby and Samuel
graciously bought a wonderful large blue sofa from a garage sale, replacing our old (cat tormented, burnt...) sofa!! Woohoo!! =D
ImageThen on Monday it was frosting since midnight!!
ImageImage
Adelaide hit a record cold 0oC the next morning, and everywhere was frosting till even 9am! I was too excited playing with frost I didn't feel cold at all! =D
ImageImage
And when I went to lab, I was greeted by my new baby and 'lifeline'- introducing Elle TreeBee (serial no L3B8626), my new personal uni computer!! A dashing 2 GB RAM, 200 GB memory (including backup drives) brand new squeaking IBM PC!!! No more carrying laptop to uni!! =D

Ruby and Samuel have returned safely and have started a very exciting brand new chapter in life and church. The missions team Too Much Basil safely back in Adelaide. Timothy Chan's visit, Kok Hwa (Tan) and Mindy's return... Man! Adelaide suddenly is the MOST HAPPENING place for me, as EVERYBODY's BACK!!!!! =D
ImageOne happy event after another, one more blessing and one more sunshine. I was in complete delirium the past few days. Bring it on God!!! Thank You so much!!! =D

Speaking of being delirious, on a sadder note, UK gospel band Delirious? has formally announced that they will split the end of next year... :(
