ROAR, Awards, and Teacher Appreciation

Victoria and Claire had fabulous teachers this year. They have both had a great experience in their classes. And to thank their teachers we decided to make them some purses.

We "purse"anally think our teachers were the best!

Claire Earned the ROAR Award for her class this year. She has worked so hard and grown show much. It is really fun to see her dedication being recognized. Great Job Claire! We are so proud of you!

Kyle earned 4 different awards from teachers! For GPA, Attendance, Art, and Diligence. 

Rendezvous

Our school district has the best 4th Grade Rendezvous EVER!!! I am so glad I got to go with Toria to experience this fun day.

Oregon Trail Pioneers

The had over 40 stations, but we only got to go to 23. Of course what can you expect with over 3000 kids and 2000 adults in attendance. It was a very well organized event. Great Job to all those who put it on every year!

Birdies

A few months back we adopted two Green Cheek Conures because the lady was moving to Vegas and couldn't take them with her. We named them Gustavo (Gus) and Evita. Soon after their arrival to our home Evita laid a clutch of 4 eggs and after 24 days 2 hatched.  (one was a dud and the other had a chip in the shell so it didn't make it)
We took the babes from their momma on the 22nd so that we could make them "human friendly" and man has it been fun. Uno and Dos have such great personalities and they will make great pets for two lucky families.

Left is Dos and right is Uno. They just finished their feeding and are snuggled up to Roberts hand.

April Fools and Easter

The Author Brandon Mull came to Boise and he is one of our favorites of all time (Fablehaven is by far one of the best series ever). I took Anne to his book signing and seems as how it was April 1st, we headed over to the church and put gun shot stickers on Robert's car as well as the other bishopric members. It was so funny until I realized a few days later that they weren't those vinyl stickers that I thought they were. It took a few months and a lot of rain to loosen them up and fall off. OOPS!

We went up to Avimor for a fun Easter egg hunt and then they had their community center opening. It is such a beautiful center and we love going up their to swim.

Always the calm one

Kyle played tennis while the girls did the hunt and then had a basketball pick up game afterwards. 

Tennis

Kyle and Anne played tennis this year. Kyle was on the A team and Anne was on the B team. They had opposite locations every game, so Robert ended up going to all the away schools and I stayed at their school to watch them. 

They both seemed to really enjoy this sport and season. 

Anne was nothing but positive the entire time which was really great because they lost every single game except the very last one. 

Kyle and his partner did really great, but that last match during the tournament was pretty ruff because he was nailed super hard twice. Once in the back of the head and the other in the sensitive front. OUCH! 

I'm so proud of both of you. 

To my Husband

Happy 15th Anniversary. I am so thankful to be sealed to you for all time and eternity! 

I love that you see little Clairesky in the corner grinning at him. 

He is such a great hero and example to our little ones and for that I am eternally grateful. I remember when I went through the temple for the first time and saw him walking up the steps to meet me. The spirit testified to me then in such a clear voice that he was meant for me and I thank Heavenly Father every morning that I have him to be my husband. 

I heard this song this morning and thought of you. I hope you like it.
