Instalasi

Install the Plugin:
- Via WordPress.org: Go to Plugins > Add New, search for “Image Watermark,” and click Install Now.
- Manual Upload: Download the plugin ZIP from WordPress.org, then upload it via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
Activate the Plugin:
- After installation, activate Image Watermark through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
Configure Settings:
- Navigate to Settings > Watermark in your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Choose your watermark type (image or text) and upload/select a watermark image if using image-based.
- Adjust positioning, size, opacity, and other options as needed.
- Select post types for automatic watermarking or enable for all uploads.
Enable and Test:
- Toggle the plugin on to start automatic watermarking for new uploads.
- For existing images, go to Media Library > Bulk Select, choose images, and use the “Apply Watermark” bulk action.
- Preview watermarks in the settings page and test on a sample image to ensure everything works.

I was not able to get this plugin to work. It didn’t add the watermark automatically and when I tried adding it manually (there is an option when you open the image) it still didn’t add the watermark.

I give this 4.5 stars (though I rounded it up !) it would be more if we could be able to add a text watermark too – at the moment only using an image is possible bit it’s still excellent – thank you for your work and contribution

1 less star because it does not add watermark to webp format images, please add it. other than that i had no problems with it. works amazing and the good thing is you can tell the plugin to only apply the watermark to a specific post type!

I use it since years on www.afnews.info and it’s all ok to me. I just would like to use it also for webp images: is it possible?And could it be possibile to have 2 different watemarks to use on choice?

I tried Image Watermark plugin, despite the few negative reviews, and found that it works exactly as advertised. It’s also very simple to use. If you already have a library full of images to protect, here’s a quick walkthrough: Create a PNG image to use as your watermark, upload it to your media library, install the plugin, adjust the parameters to your preference and be sure to connect the plugin to your watermark PNG file. Save the settings (surprising how often this step is missed). Next go to the media library, you should see a message indicating that Image Watermark can only be used in “List” mode, so change the library to “List” and select the images you want watermarked. Then choose Watermark from the dropdown, and click update. Takes a few minutes, and when it’s done all the selected images are protected. NOTE: If you already have existing galleries before watermarking the images, you just need to edit those galleries and replace the originals, with the newly watermarked images from your library. I noticed that the images in my galleries did not show the watermarks until I completed this step.
