Many people who choose a vegetarian diet do so as a way of improving their health. The possible benefits include improved health for nutritional reasons and improved food safety. In the therapy of some health disorders and/or food intolerances vegetarian diets are a necessary element.
The American Dietetic Association and Dietitians of Canada have stated: "Vegetarian diets offer a number of nutritional benefits, including lower levels of saturated fat, cholesterol, and animal protein as well as higher levels of carbohydrates, fiber, magnesium, potassium, folate, and antioxidants such as vitamins C and E and phytochemicals."
Some studies suggest that vegetarian food helps keep body weight under control and reduces risk of Heart diseases. American vegetarians tend to have lower body mass index, lower levels of cholesterol, lower blood pressure, and less incidence of heart disease, hypertension, some forms of cancer, type 2 diabetes, renal disease, osteoporosis, dementias such as Alzheimer’s Disease and other disorders that may be diet-related.[43] The health of a group of 27,000 vegetarians is currently being followed at a UK centre of the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC), the largest study of the long-term effects of vegetarian diet.
Although potentially diet related, most studies do not control for other lifestyle variables that typically coexist with vegetarianism, for example increased exercise as part of a general concern for physical wellbeing that often accompanies the adoption of a vegetarian lifestyle.

Moslem Vegetarian
Are You Moslem, and a vegaterian? This a benefits becoming vegetarian as a moslem. Islam allows consumption of meat, if the meat is "halal," which is meat slaughtered by the Islamic standards, by the name of God, and disallowed meat is haram, which is non-permitted meat or meat not slaughtered according to Islamic standards.
Muslim vegetarians are very rare as the consumption of meat is intertwined with religious sacrificing of animals (namely caprids, bovines and camels) in Eid ul-Adha. Moreover, according to Islamic jurisprudence it is wrong to forbid that which is not forbidden. When travelling to locations where it is difficult to get halal meat, Muslims might eat fish or vegetables but they must be sure that the vegetarian food does not contain wine or other alcoholic taste enhancers. However, meat-eating is not compulsory and one may abstain from it if they do not like the taste or need to abstain for health reasons.

Avoid Wearing Wool Clothes
Becoming vegetarian is becoming love other life. So, on wearing clothes. In nature sheep produce just enough wool to keep them warm, but scientific breeding has turned them into wool-producing machines, with wool often making up half their body weight. During hot weather they often die from heat exhaustion, and in Australia alone one million sheep die each year from exposure to cold after shearing.
In order to prevent maggot infestation in the folds of skin around the sheeps' tails, farmers now perform an operation without anaesthetic called "mulesing" in which sections of flesh are sliced away, leaving a painful wound.
Sheep are treated roughly at shearing time, with serious cuts and dislocated limbs often resulting.
For example, in Australia alone, about 10 million lambs die each year when they are just a few days old. This is mainly due to unmanageable numbers of sheep and not enough farm workers. So, dont't wear wool clothes, love animal, love our body.

Avoid Eat Meat
If you are reading this, you probably already know many reasons for avoiding meat. Here we will give you just a small number of the facts behind it.
90% of oats, 85% of corn, and 80% of soybeans grown in the U.S. alone are fed to livestock. If everyone consumed plant foods instead of innocent animal beings there would be enough food to feed the entire world several times over.
The world already has a shortage of fresh water, and animal production plays a large part. In the U.S., for example, meat production consumes over half the water used. 2500 gallons (9500 litres) of water are used to produce 1 pound (454 grammes) of meat, where only 25 gallons of water are needed to produce 1 pound of wheat. For every person who follows a vegan path, they have saved 2800-3700 gallons of water each day.
Loss of topsoil is another major problem our civilization is facing. In the U.S. (a country with more laws and controls than most others), 75% of its topsoil has been lost and 85% of this loss is becasue of animal agriculture industries.
Every 5 seconds an acre of the precious South American rainforest is cleared to create cropland for the production of meat and dairy. In the U.S. alone, 260 million acres (105 million hectares) of forests have been destroyed. For every year that a person follows a vegan path, they have saved an acre (0.4 hectares) of trees.
33% of all raw materials (the basic products of farming, forestry, and mining, including fossil fuels) consumed by the U.S. are devoted to the production of livestock. It takes 11 times as much energy to produce meat and other fatty foods than to produce grains.
It is now common for farmers to use confinement stalls to raise their pigs. These small cages are barely big enough for their massive bodies which grow rapidly due to all the hormones they are injected with. Pigs are highly intelligent - more than dogs - so their treatment is especially sad.
Sows are kept impregnated their entire lives. Most pens have a bar over the sow in order to keep her lying down so that her babies can easily feed. Once the piglets are large enough to eat the 'food' the farmers feed them, they are taken away from their mother. Then she is impregnated again...

Benefit becoming Vegetarian
The health benefits associated with vegetarianism go beyond simply having better eating habits. People who have been following a traditional vegetarian diet for many years may be healthier because they also tend to avoid or use less alcohol, caffeine and refined foods. They also tend to have other positive lifestyle habits including being more physically active, having less stressful lifestyles and being non-smokers.
A variety of studies have shown that the standard American meat- and dairy-centered diet is laden with saturated fats, and is low in fiber and excessively high in protein. This diet begins to clog the arteries in childhood, and puts our children on the road to heart attacks, strokes, cancer and obesity.
If we eat meat, did we know, an animal foods-based diet also significantly lacking in fiber and will, due to insufficient consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, most likely contain inadequate amounts of many vitamins and minerals.
In fact, the excessive amount of protein consumed in a meat-based diet has been shown to cause the loss of calcium into the urine. The body compensates for this loss by removing calcium from the bones. This is especially harmful during adolescence, a critical time for bone development. Young women reach full adult bone mass in the spinal and hip areas by the age of 20, so it’s important to promote the maximum absorption and retention of calcium.
Compare with it, a low fat, whole food vegetarian diet can easily provide your body adequate protein and a healthy supply of fiber, vitamins and minerals, including those (such as iron, calcium, zinc, magnesium and B6) that are often found lacking in many the diets of so many people.
If we enough strong to eat only vegetable based food, why we have to kill other life to satisfy our desire of eating. Be rational, be vegatrian is not only healthy, but it contains moral spirit: not tyo hurt other life, other people. Its the basic of love.
