5 minutes poses, parts 2 & 3

 A 5 minute head study and a 5 minute figure study.  The figure study is probably my favorite sketch from the session.

 This is just what it is, attempting to get used to the new model.  

Welcome to Jenifer, our newest model

 For someone who has never modeled for a life class before, Jenifer is a true natural.  Great gesture poses.

The third 15 minute pose (and my favorite sketch of the night)

 And why wouldn't it be my favorite, just look at the shapes and that fun right knee.  I think the shading and modeling turned out pretty nice.  Yep, whether y'all agree with me or not, this is the nicest effort I had during this session.

Skipping ahead to the long pose

 Pretty happy with how this is coming along.  I had to make a few adjustments and I still have a couple more before I can move ahead with this.  Mostly the right arm and making sure the head and neck are correct.  A really fun pose.

15 minute pose, part 2

 I don't seem to be in a hurry these days, so I'm satisfied with partial drawings or vignettes.  It's all a learning process.  You're never too old...

The first of three 15 minute poses

 I took the approach, as I seem to have been doing for some time now, of just working a section of the figure.  For some reason, I've become fascinated with drawing knees.  There is just something about the subtle shapes involved and the deep shadows in such small spaces.  Hey, don't judge me!
