Cheer Competition - Preview

Wow Saturday was our cheerleaders competition. There were 11 schools there competing, and they all had a different style they brought to the competition. It was really fun to watch. Our team competed in the large team, co-ed division. The guys add so much to a team. They can really help to get the girls up there. And their voice makes a huge difference. All three of the teams in our division had good warm-ups. We were all thinking our team would really have to work hard to pull this off. Needless to say, they did. When it was there turn they put 110% into it. They hit everything! They were loud and together! When the score sheets came in... Our team won! We are so proud of them! Way to go team!!!! The trophy we won was even Purple...just like it was meant to be ours! Our stunt groups did way good too. Cjani's stunt group took third out of 8 groups. They did good too. And for the second year in a row, our crowd took home the "crowd participation award too!" Way to go crowd! This video is from the night before their competition, when they did their half time. This helped to work out any bugs that they had before their competition.

My New Blog...here goes!

I'm new to this, but think I will give it a try.. so, lets see what ya think...

I'm the proud Mom of a High School Varsity Cheerleader, and the proud Mom of a High School Cheerleading Coach. My two daughters are 9 years apart in age, but very close as sisters. When I'm not supporting my cheerleaders, more than likely I'll be at work, (I've been at my job for 23 years and still really enjoy it!)But when I do find time to relax I enjoy quilting, cooking, camping & fishing. One of our favorite places to visit is Yellowstone. We have many fond memories of trips we've enjoyed there.
Something else I greatly enjoy is scrap booking and stamping (card making). I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and love what I do...making cards, scrapbook pages and meeting new people. I have been a demonstrator for about 5 years now. I'll post pictures of new ideas and hopefully give you ideas of cards and crafts you might enjoy. I will have directions for scrap booking ideas and cards from time to time here on my bog, along with upcoming events. My blog will most likely have a little bit of everything on it.. kind of fun to mix things up.
