Battle: Los Angeles

Chris Paul was traded from New Orleans Hornets to Los Angeles Clippers.
That was the past.
Now, into the future.

I'll start off with a quote from Mr MVP Kobe Bryant himself; " It's about damn time". Yup, the rivalry between the 2 LA teams.

For years, Lakers had taken the honor of being the sole LA rep in the basketball world. (The 17 World Championship titles ain't no kidding yo! )

Clippers are on the re-building phase. And with the addition of one of the best point guard in NBA history, it won't be long till the Clipps are getting the taste of the Championship title..
Yes, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan does make a formidable team.

But, I wouldn't write the Lakers off. Of course, with the trade of Lamar Odom and Shannon Brown ( future star), Lakers are losing the blueprint that earned them the 2 back-to-back trip to the Finals. Dwight Howard's trade ain't working yet at this moment. In all the mess, Lakers still have Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum.

Of course, Kobe's age has been taking a toll on his playing time recently. However, word is that Kobe's back healthy and eager to chase that 6th ring. In Kobe I trust =)

Nevertheless, it's gonna be an interesting new NEW NBA season. Come Christmas, let the ball loose!

Ps : I'd still like to have LA Lakers vs Chicago Bulls for NBA Finals!

2K11 - The Fall of Dictatorship

Kim Jong-il reportedly passed away, thus making a pathway for his son to succeed him as the next leader of North Korea's government.

Just as we thought we had seen enough for the past 11+ months, (Egypt's uprising and Libya's protest), another reign ended. Kim's death summed up to what 2011 has been now identified as, " The Fall of Dictatorship". 

Let's just pray and hope that, with these hated figures out of the picture, the World may once again sees an age of Peace and Love (which I doubt so, not till corrupted politicians have been exterminated)

PS : USA pulled their troops out of Iraq. Clearly, a good sign to start 2012.
