Only a month late! Here is Eli at the pancake breakfast. He loves playing bass! And he is so good at it!

Balloon Festival

We went to the ballon festival tonight. Waited for hours for the tethered ballon rides. It was too windy for them to start on time. But it was fun!

Because of the wind, we could only go up 60 ft. But it did offer a good view.

The flames were pretty hot. 

We came, we waited, we rode in the balloons and then we left. The lines were crazy long every where making it hard to want to walk around. Waiting in lines made us all hungry so we went to dinner.  At least we had a good time!

Final cross country meet

Lucas qualified for a final meet in cross country. Meaning he was in the top 10 boys from his school. Fast boy!

All junior high ran together. Lucas started toward the back of the pack. 

He is hard to see but he is there, trying to finish strong!

I believe his time was 13:45 for two miles!

Lucas has one more meet. He finds out tomorrow if he qualifies to run at the big meet in Lawrence on Saturday. Either way, I am proud of him either way!
