Matt's Update

Well, it is official, I have just finished and submitted my BYU Business School Application. It is only 12:42 A.M. the night before, not too much procrastination...Now it is time to wait the LONG three weeks to see if I am a failure or accepted to the program. Wish me luck, and I will gladly take any prayers from those that feel inclined (you and I both know I need it).

I just want to take a moment and thank a man that has influenced my life, simply by allowing the Utah Jazz to remain in Utah. Thank you for your dedication, humility, and your example. Thank you Larry, thank you for all that you have done for this state, your religion, and everyone. I am sad I didn't learn of some of the amazing things you had done until today at work when I read about them. Thank you for reaching out and helping individuals to get jobs they needed, and thank you for the buildings you built to help others. Thank you for what you did for everyone, and especially thank you for the entertainment of the Utah Jazz. I hope this season will end well for you and for the team. GO JAZZ!!! He definitely was a man who loved Utah. Thank you.

EXCITING news!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MATT PASSED HIS LOAN OFFICER TEST!!!!!!!!!!!! this is something we have been stressing about since last September!!! after hours of studying and hard work...he went to Sandy to take the test. the test took FIVE hours! ugh! but...it all paid off and he is now a loan officer :) we are hoping that this opens up some more doors for us in the future.

Now for some other exciting news....Matt is re-taking his accounting class this semester...and he feels like he's finally getting it!!!!!!! YAY!! we are really hoping that he can get accepted to the business school this semester--only a few more weeks until he applies! keep your fingers crossed for us!

ok....well, i guess as exciting as all that news is...we have even MORE exciting news-- WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! it's still a little early...but the baby is due this August! :) we are so so so SO excited!!!!!!! we've been to the doctor once already and are super excited to be going back in two weeks :) we had a blast telling our families this last month--and we even caught some of it on video! anyway...we are ECSTATIC! we can't keep it in anymore :) hopefully in two weeks all this AWFUL morning sickness---which is NOT just in the morning but ALL DAY---will be gone! thank you zofran--my new friend :) here are some funny new pregnancy experiences we have had lately:

1. we had to go get wingers at 10:30 one night because i was craving it SO bad! then....i proceeded to eat all of my wings plus half of matt's! usually it is the other way around!!!! oh well...
2. the four things i CANNOT handle right now are: french fries, cheese, mint, and mexican food (especially anything with refried beans!!!) oh man....NO GOOD!
3. we tried to go out to dinner the other evening to Goodwood BBQ. it didn't last very long. i thought i was going to be sick the whole time we were sitting at the table. poor matt. anyway, after a few bites of food we boxed it all up and left. i'm such a boring date!

well...i guess i better call it a night...since my new bedtime is...yep, right now. ha ha ha! i rarely make it past 8:3o or 9:00 PM now...i'm such a boring wife. thanks, matt, for putting up with me!!!! you're the best :)
