3 more weeks...

Today marked another fun "baby" appointment for us at the doctor's office :) Unfortunately Matt had to work, so I went alone today. It was so much fun though! I got to hear the baby's heartbeat again!!!! Even though I have heard the heartbeat more than once, it almost doesn't seem real...still. Each time I just want to ask the doctor, "Are you sure that's coming from inside me?" LOL. I'm crazy. Anyway...another thing I got to do today was schedule the gender ultrasound!!!! Only 3 more weeks to go!!! We can't wait! What a wonderful miracle for us!

Here are the gender guesses so far...
Jen's parents: undecided
Jen's grandma: boy
Matt's mom: girl
Matt's dad: boy
Jason: girl
Stephie: boy
Amy: girl
Loris: girl
Jen's work: half guessed boy, half guessed girl...lol.

Anyway...feel free to guess! :)

Token White Guys

Some of my fellow co-workers have created a blog entitled Token White Guys. This blog is pretty much dedicated to our current economic conditions. While reading from this blog and another blog I became involved in a debate with an individual that has completely confused socialism with the United Order. I am completely convinced that the socialism is so close to the truth much like some of the Anti-Christs in the Book of Mormon that it would easily confuse some. I encourage individuals to truly seek out the truth of all things. A prophet of god has specifically spoken against socialism, and even Joseph Smith has said in attending meetings on socialism in his day that he did not believe the doctrine. Simply stated that these two people are enough for me to completely agree, but I will gladly still continue to follow the path outlined by Moroni to search out the truth of all things. I also am posting a link to a talk delivered by Ezra Taft Benson that my co-worker Brian informed me of. This video talks specifically on these issues.

Bad news

Well, just as I expected, my pre-management GPA just wasn't enough, and I will have to re-apply to the business program when I get that up. I found out the other day as I was running around to get all the information in that they wouldn't be able to use my grades from this semester, hence the re-taking of accounting won't count. So we will see how that works out. Wish me luck on the rest of this semester, and thanks for all your prayers.
