Elves, Choo Choo, and Chi O Study Break

Sunday Emerson was invited to Harper's birthday party, where they met at the Choo Choo for pictures.  Tyson and I took the opportunity to have a date night while we were downtown. 

We ate dinner at Tailgate, where there was a Harry Pottery Christmas Pop Up going on. 

We sat next to the owls, go chi o!

Emerson had a fun evening taking pictures and doing a Breakout Game with friends. 

Unfortunately, they did not break out.

They ended the evening at Goodfellas for dinner.

Tuesday the Chi Omega Alum group hosted a study break for the actives at the house.  We brought in snacks and goodies for them to munch on before their finals.  Elle even showed up! I love that we share the same activities now :)

Elle babysat for her kiddos later that afternoon.  They adore her!!

Wednesday Elle met up with some Chi Omega sisters at the Choo Choo for coffee, pictures, and some studying.  They look adorable!

Happy Thanksgiving!! New Orleans- Day 2

We had a great destination Thanksgiving Day!  We slept in, watched some of the Macy's parade, then walked over to Cafe Du Monde for breakfast.

Such a pretty walk passing Jackson Square and the St. Louis Cathedral. 

Surprisingly, there was zero wait!  We were able to walk right up to a table.  AND there was live jazz music playing, so fun!

We picked a table right next to the musicians...breakfast with a show!

Yum yum!! (Although we agreed that Cafe Beignets from yesterday was tastier.)

More exploring.

Lunch was at Tableau, which was in a historic building next to Jackson Square, right next door to St. Louis Cathedral.  We even got to sit on the balcony!

We then walked over to Windsor Court Hotel to check out their Christmas decorations, very pretty!

Back to our hotel for a little rest before dinner. 

We learned about a parade right in front of our hotel!!  Elle stayed in the room and rested, but dad, Emerson, and I went down to watch.  We got lots of beads and saw some interesting people, haha!

Thanksgiving dinner was at Kingfish.

I was excited about their traditional thanksgiving dinner, with crawfish dressing!

Ending our exciting day with a cold walk on Canal Street.
