X'mas Pt 08 At Vionna's Hse... WHOPEE


Highlights of the day(cant possible type one whole chunck right... =D

1. Attempted to meet on bus 12 starting from jia hao's bus stop but it failed with 2 missing ppl... timothy and Y2... alamak!
2. Played Murderer before dinnertime...[i hate winking at detectives..]
3. Eat dinner... [cedric finally ended his otah urge haha]
4. Played bridge in pairs. [my partner is y2..HAIX haha]
5. Eat y2's spongecheese cake
6. Watch a jap dancing show which emerlyn thinks its funny... but apparently we thinks as long is jap guys, she'll find it funny... [emerlyn DAMN SADDIST laugh when see guys get hurt]
7. Played dai ti with tim, emerlyn & ced
8. Sing Zombie in Dont forget ur Lyrics
9. Gathered to watch Xiao Niang Re together =D
10. Cedric keep sliding of the sofa and kept blaming me... so i irritated him and keep giving a lot of weird comments while watchin Xiao Niang Re
11. Take many many grp photos and got amanda irritated... Thx ar... for being so patient
12. Wanted to go playground play. So i went to the swing [Emerlyn at first say dun wan me push... then cannot move then ask me push... den still say y cannot go so high... haha...emerlyn the zhen fei le dui ma?]
13. Sat in the middle of the cycling road to discuss about... zodiac evolution! with new animals new clothings and new many many things [I'm gonna be turtle and thats decided!!! anyone can think of nice name related to turtle? i dun wan TMNT]
14. Dao bi halfway cos some ppl wan to go toilet...
15. Continue discussing + shun bian discuss about countdown as well
16. Went home at 11.15 and play bang game while waiting for bus 12

ok i shall resume my mundane life as usual starting from wednesday and then backtrack

Wednesday(today): *Highlight of the day* Clem and me didnt realise we both took the wrong train haha.

Ok went to sch early in the morning to do IDEAS project. I think my grp become quite slow le haha overtaken by clem's grp. Maybe slow and steady win the race? HAHA. tea break..zuo bo...lunch break chicken talk and play pool... i win by shooting 8 ball in this time! and not becos ppl shoot in wrong hole! hmm after that danial left and i went to make this super small little heart and apply putty(its some sort of clay) on it. When finish the heart i put on this blog =D. After that go shopping at queensway.. bought one jeans. Went anchorpoint eat subway let vivian decide on wat i eat haha. Ok here comes the climax.... i was talkin to clement all the way from the mrt station to the platform then we walk into the train.. we talk talk talk den suddenly we heard... " Buona Vista" Deep in my mind... must be say wrong... look outside...ehh look like buona vista... SHIT we took the train to the west LOLOLOL come out and took the train back home haha.

Tuesday: *No Highlights*

Went back to PRSS to play table tennis with shannon and the juniors. He ask me go back wan... Anyway the the juniors did improve but doubt it is good enough. BTW i found out that heidi's brother is in table tennis... i think his name is aisaec?(dunno how to spell) but dun see much of a resemblance.

Monday: *Laugh of the day* - Jia hao fall while playing badminton. HAHA DAMN FUNNY.

Woke up at around 9.20 liddat and realised i was kinda late to reach at tampines sports complex at 10am. Rushed out of the hse and sms cedric to check how late he is ... HAHA. Phew luckily he at bus stop waiting for his bus. Ended up i still later than jia hao and cedric zzz. Reached le horh.. cedric tell me y2 nvr pick up the phone. I know it could only mean 1 thing... she's still sleeping haha and zun zun i correct. Called y2 home and her mother pick up... then hear y2 lazy voice... cant intepret what she say... only hear the "oh man" part haha. Btw jia hao fall down like for no apparent reason u know... doesnt look like he slip or trip himself. JUST IMAGINE HOW HE FALL CAN LE =D

Firstly thank cedric for getting me a twin... mr 'dong su hua' cum 'blackhole' even though u got a twin urself... ok joking the real thanks start now

1. Thanks to either y2 or cedric+gang for pulling me into supernova in the first place... had such a wonderful experience here
2. y2 SURE MUST thank... everytime stay up late just to settle our programme stuffs. Even though we ourselves nvr go meeting, u still cheng zhu. Need to buy so much logistics, print this print that... make this make that... I dun think i haf the capability to make such nice mask... or even haf the concentration to stay up that late
3. the logistic crew: even though i know u all wanted to help a lot but it's just i wan to ensure my logistics is settled so really didnt ask for ur help
4. All IC for 1st 2 days(vionna, shihan, hayden, vincent) : For making all the programmes run smoothly. Lets give ourselves a pat on our back. WHOPEE
5. Cedric, jia hao, yi qian, hayden: For helping me to move icebreaker logistics stuff and other things when i ask u to do
6. Hmmm still got wat ar? I think y2 really must thank the most la... help out in programme so much... though i know u OIC but i think u really did more than u really need.

Supernova camp 08: Day 2

Woke up. I think neck kinda stiff haha. At least this time i had at least 2h of sleep? better than just half an hour worth of sleep haha. Cant really rmb wat i do during this period? All i know is cedric and jia hao complain about y2 hp ringing... me snoring? vincent snoring immediately after he sleep? Ok la went to brush teeth den prepare for the next programme....

Captain Mania - IC: Hayden

This game is actually something like captain ball. Just that the 4 tribes are playing together and different kind of balls are thrown in the centre. Got beachballs... ping pong balls... tennis ball... squeaky balls etc etc. I think i was the assistant ball master in charge of kanza's grp with timothy as my ball master since he cant run and pick up balls so i let him do the counting.

Actually the game seems kinda fun. Kanza's grp keep getting all the points for beachball... resulting in them lagging behind for 2 rounds. But lucky the last run they pick up a lot of squeaky balls which is worth 50 points. AND AND AND the last round horh... the secret item was thrown in... 1 raw WHOLE CHICKEN. basket... i was hoping my grp wun score with the chicken... cos i need to throw it back in... and sui sui... yup my grp caught the chicken zzz. This pretty much concluded this programme... my thoughts on this game. ^Ping pong ball should be worth much more points and maybe they can put diluted red dye on the chicken...den it'll look a lot more like bloody chicken HAHA^

After captain mania, the different grps were sent out to do newspaper collection in the surrounding. So we programme took this time to rest a little bit... We rest for awhile... den discuss a bit for the decoration of tribal night. After a bit of discussion here and there cedric & company went to play bridge... den i think y2 talk a bit with vionna. So i decided to wash the pails from flag making and see if i can clean the stains of the rags also... Unfortunately, it's impossible and so i just leave the pails outside to dry since it is super sunny. Came back into HQ and saw y2 sleeping le. Joined in to bridge as well... den shi han say call her wake up at 11 i think?

Played till sian liao... den mr 'blackhole' went out to practise FLOORBALL!? Cedric wanted to volleybeachball but i wanted to basketball so we brought both out and make our way to the basketball court.... ended up playing basketball... den suddenly RAIN. Fortunately we playing indoors got shelter but we set the rule that whoever hit the ball outside must go outside to retrieve the ball haha. Played till we saw shi han & vionna moving all the packet drink...so we decided to stop... in the end nothing to move le... so play volleybeachball.

Play and play till tired and we make our way to the canteen to sit down and talk talk. I saw the mike there and we all play with the mike (actually mainly me and yi qian play only) First we sing around with the mike... songs like camp rock and more... attempted to beatbox but failed... then here comes the most funny part. Dunno wat gotten into us but we suddenly decided to act as newspaper broadcaster... and yi qian was dong su hua... while i was apparently someone 'live' at india reporting about the scene of the bombings i think... damn lame sia... as due to my lousy chinese, i cant say a lot of things but enjoyed that session a lot sia. 'Dong su hua' damn funny.

Awhile later, food for the auction lunch came... got a few hiccups and y2 and vionna set out to buy more food. Ho chunk came back first... Den sh, me, yq, hayden, ced,jh head back to HQ dunno do wat... but ended up they bridge again... i went to the tables outside the reflection room to wait for the other tribes to come back... but ended up sleeping for 15mins. I think when i woke up, only another grp, kanza come back... I went to see wat cedric and the rest are doin inside... but realise they sleeping liao. Dragged myself all the way to the canteen and sit down alone. Not soon after... more tribes come back le... & cedric they all joined us le..Then got this girl offer me clorets i look behind me to see if she offering someone else haha but no one behind. So i go take sweets lorh... i think the 2 girls name is aquilah? xin yu? cant rmb la... they ask me wat course i in then i tell them lorh... den shun bian tell them i ex-pasirian also den they tio shock. Then guess each other cca blah blah blah. Btw they are actually hayden's npcc junior.

Time for *drum roll*

Auction lunch - IC: Shi Han

Dunno wat to say here. BUt i think the mixed fruits look the best! Shall let other ppl elaborate auction food here. U can check out other lenghthy posts from Vionna's, ying ying's, cedric's ... i think jia hao will shorten his posts... haha. Btw programme ppl eat chicken rice.

After lunch... we all went to prepare for tribal night le. We decided to hold meeting without y2 and vionna and take things into our own hand haha with cedric leading us... So we make the basket of leaves to put the candle on and also think of layout for the tables. *To be continued*

After awhile...y2 came back and half the grp went to arrange the tables for tribal night... leaving me shi han & ka ching behind... I do the cutting of scotchtape/musking tape while shi han and kaching do the baskets. After awhile vincent called me to help out also... went there and the numbers of tables less to move was around 2-3 more only... zzz. After that we listen to some briefing from the emcees cassandra and leovine. Know our duties for tribal night... & time for the last programme for me...

TRIBAL NIGHT - IC: VIONNA

The Tribal night started with darkness sia...atmosphere quite nice. We wore light sticks... i know shi han wan got leak YUCKS MAN haha. The purple light stick which looks like pink before broken DAMN NICE. Highlights of event in chronological order

1. Say the programme cheer! Programme zuo ga ai si! i dunno how to spell... sth liddat
2. Went to serve ppl buffet like dinner... CEDRIC MI FEN NOT POPULAR! my cao fan better!
3. Didnt hear wat emcee say but ended up sabo-ing ourselves... cos cedric just shout programme! programme! I think we suppose to create one cheer on the spot lorh... so lame!
4. Y2 saboed programme for DARE'dications? The victims are monkey(cedric) and orang utan(jh)
5. Sadly after that, i have to leave... take a grp photo as programmes together. Unfortunately i dun haf the photo yet

Had a super great time at supernova camp '08 Though it'll be my last( i think) i really enjoyed the both time i spent helping our in supernova camp '07 & '08

Supernova camp: Day 1 - Joel's POV

We were making our back from tecc's mac when we heard that campers haf already arrived!? i think it was around 7? and registration was like from 8am-9am... wth so enthusiastic haha!!! [heard is becos the see the time wrongly] Quickened our pace cos i ha
ven brush my teeth yet YUCKS haha. Went back... go brush my teeth and went to canteen there sit sit while waiting for cedric and company to reach school... apparently they are late. Looked at the programme today and see wat i need to do... then i realise there MAY not be enough time to prepare for flag making so i decided to see if i could prepare earlier for that.... bring the flag making logistics to the carpark behind volleyball court cos i
heard it is easier to clean at carpark den on the floor. 15mins later realised that volleyball ppl have trainin!!! Changed my venue to area behind fish pond for flag making and parade square for ice breakers. Den went to brief to the different tribe leader to see if they know how to carry out the icebreaker and answer their queries also. Shun bian inform them about the change in venues also =D. [i think everyone in programme have already reached by now]

Close to 9.10 i think i went to prepare logistics for icebreakers. Ordered cedric, jia hao and yi qian come help haha. Layout the garbage bag, small water guns, mentos for icebreaker. Also refilled my big big water gun Muhuahua. Finally get to play with it... since last year cant play haha. After that it was introduction of the organising committee and i have to brief the campers about the icebreaker games haha. Without knowing it, i was actually pointin the water gun towards camper in one hand and holding the mic in the other haha.

ICEBREAKER TIME - IC: JOEL=D

It seems that every icebreaker carried out normally. Went around different grp shooting water gun at different ppl haha. Eventually y2 also started shooting me and i was drenched zz. Ppl wanted my water gun and in the end i have to lend mine. Y2 was on a wild craze squirting ppl with the water gun like some siao zha bor. Some grps also have trouble explaining icebreakers so i went to play with them for some of them. As time comes to an end.. it was time for the finale.. blow wind blow modified. Took the mic and start conducting the game actually mainly zuo bo and sit down only haha. At the end of it... i tell the water guns in charge to squirt randomly at ppl when they are lookin for the owner of the shoe. The last person was splashed with a bucket of water in the end. Sadded. AND this concludes the icebreaker session. Campers went back to canteen for reflection. O YA i forgotten after the finale we wan to teach the campers the friendship song... at first it was just me cedric jia hao and yi qian go up to teach... SO LAME LA 4 GUYS go up to teach.... den we ask vionna & ka ching come in also. Then we teach the campers...End up we also teach the campers the wrong thing... LAME< ;P & the campers taught us instead haha. Ok so during reflection time, me hayden cedric jia hao yi qian went to new foyer there to prepare logistics for flag, identity making + cheers. Thx to someone's great insight, we move the logistics into new foyer instead of fish pond area... and we make the right decision as it rained soon after. Then i realised the brushes tips were freaking hard. Shi han suggested we use thinner to make it as soft as possible and so me vincent shi han and y2 went to the boy's toilet to wash... As they were finishing making the brush tips softer, i went to the canteen and gather the grps to go to the new foyer for briefing.

FLAG MAKING etc etc TIME - IC: JOEL AGAIN =D

Actually this programme nothing much... just brief them then i go off le. Went to discuss about whether we should let mind games carry on... but ended up discussing more about teambuilding games. Then only me and y2 went to eat lunch cos we were hungry as i only ate breakfast while the rest ate food which shi han dao bao-ed during icebreaker. Both of us took our packed lunched and sit at kanza's table in an attempt to hun with the campers haha. Halfway thru dunno where y2 disappear then leave her food behind. Ate alone then ying hui talkin to me i think ... talkin bout some SP stuffs i suppose... cant rmb the details. Ate finished and y2 is STILL NOT BACK. Closed her packed lunch and was about to go le... den she finally come back. Went to Da.. watever grp this time (eleen's and shi wee's tribe always cant rmb the tribe name argh!] Accompany y2 eat while talkin to benjamin and this girl called jia feng from ping yi. 1st new friend made! whoopee. Finished and it was time for campers brainstorming for CIP projects lor. In the meantime, programmers went to prepare logistics for teambuilding games

TEAMBUILDING GAMES - IC: VIONNA

Woah PREPARE MY STATION LE!!! My station is actually have this 3 buckets. The campers will have to tie their legs and walk in pairs to the bucket. One of them in the pair will have to put their leg inside to describe wat is inside and tell his partner indirectly wat the item is... so the partner have to guess. DAMN GROSS LA! one of them is whip cream [EWW] another is scrub [POKEY] and lastly is flour [flour-ry]. Got one camper actually saw me putting whip cream inside leh. Then when he come to my station he say inside one of the bucket got whip cream right!? unfortunately he kena the whip cream HAHA FATE!.

OK other highlights include y2 putting face paint on my face... knowing she is very persistant, i know i shouldnt resist so i didnt do anything. As more campers come to my grp, they keep laughing haha... then i realsie y2 actually drow a 'UNIBROW' zzz. After the stations part of teambuildin was done, it came down to the purchasing of stuffs for water bombing and building of structures. All of us programme sit down one side and see the different grp build their structures. I thought the team with the tallest one will last quite long... in the end first one down... somehow deep down inside we wish the most stable one fall... and it really did fall HAHA. Ended up the grp that doesnt look like will win... end up being 2nd haha IRONY. [BTW i cut down this section till very short liao haha]

~Fast forward~

NIGHTWALK TIME - IC: VINCENT

Vincent kinda luo suo actually... but actually ok la... shows that he cautious i suppose haha. This time my station is something related to morse code... actually i think KINDA FUN =D. Dakota came and solve the station without me giving much leeway... Grps after that i give more and more clues esp Ho chunk grp... should let them think more instead... i thought they were last so i helped them more....ended up they were the 1st grp ROFL LMAO LOL. During the nightwalk, cedric & shi han keep walkin around tellin me they are mobile stations and constantly cheering themselves... Some hiccups occurred at the end of the nightwalk and y2 was pissed. But as a friend xi guan liao... only can ask them to chill haha. And with Ho Chunk finding the kidnapper...the nightwalk comes to an end. *EDITTED I JUST RMBED HORH actually got 2 grps wanted to royal rumble at my station wan lorh!!! DEN SO SUAY THEY SEE JIA HAO... then royal rumble there.... make me eat snake for so long*

After that we all have a debrief among programme-ers. Also a bit like gossip session and our own thoughts mainly. Ended up thank here thank there so many things... a bit emotional haha. Y2 DUN CRY! haha. & timothy i dun blame u.. it isnt ur fault i know deep down u are hardworking but we just expect more from everyone. More debrief from leovin after that and off we go to shower.

Due to the leak of the soap in my bag... me ced jh decided to like shower in 3 cubicles consecutively so that we can pass the shampoo or soap around haha. Nearly chiong-ed to be the first... but ended up need to carry chairs then we lost our positions le... reach the shower then realise no consecutive cubicles... den we say we go out see got wat to eat first.. Upon hearing that.. yi qian immediately come out then say wan join us haha.... MAJOR BLACKHOLE haha. In the end he eat one packet of rice and some biscuits also. Before that we told cassandra to bring some biscuits for us... lucky we send vincent back to check for us... cos she forgotten haha.

After showering, went to take and sleeping bags and stratgize where to sleep... ended up sleepin at parade square cos we thought go more wind better we opened up all of our sleeping bags... around 5? I played 1 round of bridge then knocked out le haha. Slept on hayden's sleeping bag...

What time is it? It's december time...it's our vacation. [K thats lame =D if anyone understand)

Anyway holiday is here. i finally have the time to blog about supernova camp 08 but FIRST lets blog about some stupid answers my 2 frens gave which 2 stupid questions i ask

Me: Would you give ur eyes to ur blind gf without telling her?
Cedric[Sec fren]: Maybe i'll give her one eye. So both of us can see

Me: What will u do if u become bald one day?
Kun Yuan: I'll put some tau gei seeds then grow tau gei on my head.

What i did today, go gym with clement from 9.10 - 11.20. POWER SIA so long... btw our resting time also not very long. Buffer post while the camp post is coming out =D
