1 . Only cleanse your skin once at the end of the day. This will remove dirt and grime but will prevent further drying. In morning, a splash of water and some moisturizer are all you need.
2 .Exfoliation is essential for dry skin. When choosing your facial scrub, avoid any made from seeds or salt – these can have sharp edges which may tear dry skin increasing moisture loss. Microdermabrasion will do the trick .
3. Never expose your skin to really hot water. It dries out parched skin.. Use warm water AND ended with cold water to tighten your pores.
4. Never dry your skin completely.Thats where facial mist is invented for portable hydration on-the-go ;) OR: One of the best way to hydrate skin is just to pat it with towel after washing, then apply moisturizer to seal in that extra moisture.
5 .Increase your intake of Omega-3 of essential fatty acids.
One of the main tell-tale sign of deficiency of these essential nutrients is dry, flaking skin.
**NUTRITIONIST QUICK TIPS FOR RADIANT SKIN Never skip your morning breakfast. Have cereal drinks or juice to add nutrient of Omega 3 and proteins needed in your daily diet.
1 .Don’t scrub oily areas – this irritates the skin and increase oil production
2 .Don’t treat your whole face the same. Your T-zone will require cleansing twice a day, while the cheekd only need doing once. It’s vice versa with moisturizing. 3 . After using pore strips, apply tea tree oil on your nose. It will reduce redness and cut bacteria levels in the pores.
4 . Avoid leave-on hair conditioners. Ingredients in these block the forehead’s pores, making already greasy skin worse.
5 . Don’t forget eye creams ; you may need to avoid rich moisturizer on your cheeks, but you shouldn’t skip them on the delicate skin around your eyes.
1. Only cleanse your face twice a day. More often will trigger that panic response
2. If shine still slips through, blotting paper is great for mopping up excess oil 3 . Ensure all your products – even your makeup are oil-free
4 . Cut down on fast food. No, grease doesn’t cause grease, but studies show that the iodine in fast food can contribute to spots on oily skin

Ingredients Not To Use In Skincare
With many hundreds of products on the shelves today, it is hard to know what to choose. There are some harmful ingredients that should be avoided when choosing a skin care products.
Mineral Oil
Mineral oil is an emollient, a petroleum byproduct. It is not truly oil made from minerals as the name implies. The types of skin moisturizers containing mineral oil work by trapping water under the skin by forming a layer of oil on top of it. Too much of this wetness can turn the skin too white, soggy or soft. Mineral oil, especially when industrial strength strains are used in skincare cosmetics, have been found to cause pimples and blemishes on the face. The oil can clog the pores, making the skin unable to release toxins through sweating. It is also possible the mineral oil may be a cancer-causing agent.
Fragrances
Many skincare products contain fragrances which can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin. The ingredients that make up the fragrances are not usually listed on the cosmetic container due to a loophole in the law allowing for "trade secrets" in fragrances. There may be quite a few secret or hidden ingredients contained within the product, many of which contribute to the smell the user experiences. Some of the ingredients in these scent can be toxic chemicals, especially to women who are pregnant as certain chemicals can disrupt hormonal balance, putting up a red flag for cancer concerns. Some people are also allergic or very sensitive to many fragrances. This puts not only the user at risk, but those around the user by way of secondhand scent. Allergic reactions can include contact dermatitis, headaches and asthma symptoms. Fragrances that contain hormone disrupters have been linked to thyroid problems, sperm issues and even cancer.
Dioxane
1,4-Dioxane may be found in trace amounts in certain cosmetics and skincare products. It is not used as an actual ingredient, but can be formed as a byproduct of other ingredients during the manufacturing process. Manufacturers are not required by law to include the use of 1,4-Dioxane on their ingredients label for this very reason.
Skin absorption studies performed by the Food and Drug Administration have found that Dioxane is absorbed through the skin when it is contained in skin lotions. Dioxane has been found to be an issue in baby shampoo and lotions. This substance is a possible carcinogen.
Parabens
These are preservatives found in many cosmetics, moisturizers and hair care products. The most commonly used parabens are methylparaben and propylparaben. They have been linked to breast cancer tumors due to their estrogen-like properties.
Alcohols
Alcohol, when listed as an ingredient in skin care products, should be avoided. Alcohol is a drying agent. It helps the body lose water, not keep it in. It can cause red areas on the face, similar to rosacea, as it dilates blood vessels. These dilated blood vessels can become permanently damaged with continued use of alcohol-based products, giving the skin a reddish, flushed color that is undesirable.

My makeup, skin care and whatever product reviews are based on my own experience.
I am opinionated but you don't have to agree with everything as what works magically for me may be a total disaster for you.
If possible, always test a product in person. That really makes a big difference
